Review: Two months ago I paid [redacted] who owns the Best of Europe $1,500.00, a down payment to install granite countertops in my kitchen. He took the money and ran. We have tried to contact him and he will not return calls. Today I stopped by his shop and found out that it is for sale and he has his granite for sale at discount pricing. I talked to his employee and was told he had not done any work in two months. The business has been in escrow and just fell out. This man had his business sold when he took my money. I see no trace of a contractors license. I did a Google search and found old listing from January. Below is the message on the listing. "Current business closing (Going out of business). All store fixtures and inventory goes with sale (see list attached). Over 1/2 acre includes additional rooms and bathroom without permits per seller connected to warehouse, showroom, and offices. Brick fence surrounds property with gated entry. Direct access to HWY 99" ________________________________________ [redacted] Contact Phone ###-###-####Desired Settlement: My down payment of $1,500.00 returned.

Review: I went to Best of Europe on April 7, 2014 and asked for owner/manager [redacted] to give me an estimate for two granite counter tops. Mr. [redacted] went to my home about two hours later and met my husband and took measurements then gave my husband an estimate for $375.00. I called Mr. [redacted] after I got off work at 4pm and asked him to complete the work. He said he wanted to come back and remeasure the counter tops and would meet me at my house in twenty minutes. Upon Mr. Stefan's arrival he completed the re-measurement and dropped the price to $350.00 asking for half to be paid right then. Mr. [redacted] stated the counter tops would be ready for pick up Saturday April 12, 2014 at 10am. My husband handed Mr. [redacted] $175.00 and Mr. [redacted] stated he forgot his receipt book but I could come and get a receipt in the morning. I stated I would pick up my receipt on Saturday when I received the product. On Friday April 11, 2014 I called Mr. [redacted] several times but got no answer so I left voice mails but got no return call. Again on Saturday I attempted to reach him with no luck. Sunday I tried more times to reach him but again I was not successful. Monday Mr. [redacted] answered and apologized saying that his father died but he would refund my money. Tuesday again no answer on Mr. [redacted] phone and I left messages. I contacted him via Facebook and he agreed to refund my money. I have evidence in my private messages correspondence with [redacted] that he agreed on more than one occasion to refund my $175.00. I last heard from Mr. [redacted] on Sunday April 20,2014 and he stated he does not work for charity and he had taken measurements and cut granite. Since that remark on Facebook he is not answering my calls or messages so I am filling a complaint. I want a refund. I am out the money I had paid for the man to install counter tops that Mr. [redacted] did not have ready on 4/12/14. I am enduring that loss already and want to recover the money we paid for services and products never rendered.Desired Settlement: Cash refund of $175.00 that was given to Mr. [redacted] as a down payment for services and products not rendered by him. No checks as I do not want to risk them bouncing and we paid in cash so being refunded in cash seems appropriate. I have since ordered the product (granite counter tops) from another reputable company and had them installed so I have no need for the product any longer. It is currently 10 days past the date agreed upon and promised by Mr. [redacted].

Review: we made a 300.00 deposit on bricks they advertisted on craigslist. we live in [redacted],**. after many attempts to call them [redacted] would not return our phone calls to let him know we wanted our refund on our deposit and we were no longer interested in the bricks because of their noninterest in returning our phone calls.we have visted there business 2x's within 1mo. with no refund. his business partner luke told my husband that"whenever they make money we would get our deposit back"no telling when that will be.we have a recipe dated 1/11/2014 from them.Desired Settlement: money order made out to [redacted] in the amount of $300.00

previous complaint#[redacted] was not resolved between [redacted] and [redacted].talked to him after Revdex.com called us to pick up bricks. we made an appt. with him to pick up the bricks after his appt at 10am. he swore up and down he had our bricks ready. when we got there the building was abandoned,grass was grown high and yellow. the bricks we saw over the gate were broken and miss matched. his next door neighbor called us about 5mp to let us know he was in the abandoned building. by then we were already back in Nevada. I want our 300 back and will not accept another promise of bricks.
