Review: There’s been a mistake made with my order - where I received an item that I did not order, and I have not received the item that I ordered and paid for.

On 9/4/14 I ordered and paid in full for item ACOUSTIC GUITAR BROWN WITH NYLON STRINGS (order # [redacted]).

On 9/12/14 I received a shipment from "bestofstrings.com" with item ACOUSTIC GUITAR TAN WITH METAL STRINGS. That was the wrong item.

For next several days I’ve been trying to contact the seller to speak to someone about this issue through the Contact form on their website (https://bestofstrings.com/contactus.sc), however my attempts (and also emails) came back as Failure Notices that my messages could not be delivered to this address: [email protected]. I also called the contact phone number listed on their website (619-288-7276), and left numerous voicemails. Finally on 9/16/14 I sent the seller a letter (by US Mail) expressing my complaint -- however I still didn’t hear back from anyone...

I completely understand that these types of mistakes (wrong item sent) can happen and this issue could have been resolved using standard business practices, however this company's lack of customer service is highly inappropriate to say the least...

I'm willing to provide my correspondence records should you need any for reference (letter, emails, etc.)

Also, I believe that the nature of my complaint exceeds "A delivery regarding receipt of unordered products" category, and additional type of issue also applies to my complaint, as I made numerous unsuccessful attempts to contact the seller regarding issues with my order -

"The failure to respond to phone calls or written requests for assistance or support"

I will never deal with this company again and will strongly urge others to avoid doing business with this seller and protect themselves as consumers.Desired Settlement: At this point I'd like to receive a full refund for my order for all the inconveniences it has caused, as well as an apology from the seller.

Review: I ordered a guitar package/set for my son back in December 2013 for $79.99. I received the guitar however it was defective and had to be sent back.

I paid another $27.00 to ship it back to Best of Strings. I still have not received a refund or a replacement for the guitar. The phone number on the website 619-288-7276 is just a recording and does not give you an option to leave a message or talk to someone regarding any issues.

When I originally received the defective guitar I was able to get ahold of someone. That person told me to send it back and they will send out a replacement.

The same number is now only a recording. NO replacement guitar has been sent to me and no refund for the guitar or the shipping has been applied to my bank account. NOT only did I pay $79.99 originally for the guitar but it went on sale 2 weeks later for $59.99.

This business has not issued a refund nor have I been able to contact anyone regarding this.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the original price I paid for the guitar AND the fee it cost to ship it. I have original receipts for both the guitar purchase and the shipping costs.

Review: I ordered a product on this website www.bestofstrings.com Invoice/order # [redacted] for a black guitar set website states product will ship 24-48 hours after ordered. I ordered on 3/14/14 @ 3pm EST on Tuesday 3/18/14 @ 5 pm EST I attempted to reach the business to get tracking info, the phone # 619-288-7276 goes to voice mail (6 times) only to be told that the subscriber can't accept any messages at this time, after every call I then received a text message saying "(Automated message) Bestofstrings.com Thank you!" to that I sent a text (only after the first call) stating I only wanted to track my order, no response. I pulled up the address to this place, as listed on site 9740 Campo Rd PMB 196 San Diego Ca 91977 it only puled up a Little Caesars Pizza, I double checked and saw the address was next door to the Little Caesars, I called Little Caesars to ask if this company was next to them and the person stated no. I then called the San Diego Sheriff's office located on Campo Rd @ phone #619-478-5378 I spoke to "dispatcher #10" who stated to file with local police, and www.ic3.gov so I did both. I will also file with my bank first thing in the morning. Case# [redacted] Athens Clarke County Police Department [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want either my order or my 59.99
