Smith plumbing is overpriced, unproffessional, and refuse to give refunds Their customer service is atrocious and their employees are rude They charged me $to replace a waterheater After return visits it was determined to have a faulty thermostat I was told the parts would arrive in about to ? Days There was no definitive date Fed up, I hired another plumbing company They installed a brands new waterheater the next day for $ Called Smith for a refund and to pick up their unit.....they refused Claimed I didn't give them enough time to fix the problem I gave them days and followup visits.....how much more did they need? In the meantime I was taking cold showers

However, in the evening, there was a sewer back up and I called a different plumbing company, who said he back up was in the main sewer line and he used motorized snake to clear the main line and he ran all the faucets, sowers drains reaching the main sewerThe back up problem was easedWe paid the *** *** *** *** who sent one of their night time worker, whose workmanship is exemplary, $
If Smith Plumbing had resolved my problem I have no objection to the chargeBut the problem was created by Smith's incompetent
Two weeks ago an employee driving a company vehicle for Smith Plumbing cut me off on the when he drove through the median to abruptly get off on StapleyHe then cut me off at the light on the over passI honked my horn and the driver rolled down his window and told me to FK Off and started yelling profanities at meAs we continued driving he drove like a manic cutting other people off, not using a turn signal, etc...At one time he came up beside me and the passenger employee called me a C*#t, BH, etcI took my phone out to get a picture of him then he proceeds to flip me offThese are employees road raging while driving a company vehicleThese are "men" that will be in your house working on your plumbingDo you really want these scums in your home? I called the company to report them and even sent them the picturesCan you believe they are still employed? To make matters worse, I see them 2-times a week because we take the same route to workI am so afraid they will see me tooIt was a horrific experience and now the shock that the owner wants to keep employees like this that explicit such a demeanor while driving a company vehicleIt sickens me
We sprung a leak just last nightHe fixed the leak quickly and professionally He also referred us to a contractor who came out the same night to take care of the wall repairsSteven was an amazing plumberI recommend Smiths plumbing to anyoneThe was no trip chargeReasonable prices toThe are coming out to do our soft water Softener and smart home water Shutoff valve next
A shower was not providing hot water The plumber came out and said the Moen cartridge had to be replaced He claimed the Moen product was very expensive and the total cost was just under $Since we were having company over and they would use this bathroom I agreed to the job I subsequently learned the real cost of the cartridge was less than $ In fact, the plumber told me I could have bought a new handle, shower head, and bath head from Lowes for less than $

My husband and I just returned to town from up northWe were chatting with our neighbors and they told us while we were away that they had Kevin from Smith Plumbing come out and install a tankless water heater & water softener
They could not believe the difference it made, and that we should really consider it as well
We called Smith Plumbing and Kevin came out last weekMy husband and I were so impressed by the service he provided as well as the price
We could not be happier with both systemsThey are definitely worth every penny and we've noticed such a difference

Recently broke a shut off valve under a bathroom sink trying to shut it off to replace a spring and rubber stopper to stop water from dripping Had to turn off main water to house Called home warranty company (which probably would not have covered problem anyway and could only get a promise of next day service -- actually wasn't until days after needed
Instead I called Smith Plumbing in Gilbert and they came out within a few hours and replaced not only the cold water value and the hot water value but replaced a faulty cartridge in one faucet and adjusted everything else in both sinks The technician, Kevin H., was great and even though the total cost was $316.50, I know that I could not have fixed it myself even if I knew which parts to replace
Five stars from this family that got the water turned back on same day!
I'd like to add my voice to the chorus of praises that have been expressed about Steve, who is employed by Smith Plumbing in Gilbert, AZ., and his expertise in solving their plumbing problems Mine involved a stubborn water softener that resisted my efforts and those of others to make it work Steve sized up the situation and after many tests, resettings, and replacement of a faulty connection he was able to restore function to the softener I was impressed by his dedication to the job and by his tenacity in his successful search for the solution to the problem
