The warranty on the customer's chair is through the manufacturer, Simmons. We assisted her with her warranty issue the last time she took issue with the chair, and she received a replacement chair from Simmons. She does not receive a new merchandise receipt from our business for a warranty...

replacement chair that was replaced by the manufacturer.Regarding the newest issue with the chair, Simmons has already agreed to replace the chair again for the customer. Why she is requesting a refund from us now, and a new chair from the manufacturer that they already agreed to replace, is odd.

I agree with the Best Price Furniture company for replacement, once again. I hope this replacement will be better than the last and one before that! This chair I have right now is damaged and the lever is very hard to use. When I buy furniture, I expect it to be in excellent condition. If it's new, it should be. I expect this "new" replacement to be under warranty as well. Especially with the trouble I've had with the Simmons Chairs. Review: In July of 2013 I contacted Best Price Furniture, the retailer where I purchased my product, to inform them that I was having problems with my sofa and needed service. At that time [redacted], the manager/technician said he would be out that day between 2-4 at 4:30 I called to find out if he was still coming and he arrived 5 minutes later smelling of alcohol. He looked at my sofa for maybe two minutes said he would be back the next day with tools and fix it. He never showed or called. In January 2014, the condition of my sofa worsened and I began to try again to have my product repaired. I contacted [redacted] again and after two missed appointments he returned to my home to look at the issue. At this time he says that it can't be repaired but must be replaced and discovers that the identification tag is missing. He says that he will submit the warranty claim without the serial number and see if it can be processed without it. In February I contact him and request an update on the claim. At this time when I enter the building I notice that he is drinking at the counter. He does not have a solution or an update and does not give any indication that he will pursue this matter. I have had to contact him approximately once a week since then and have not yet had this issue handled. My sofa is now completely unusable and has been broken for nine months. He has not ever returned a phone call, called me with an update, kept an appointment time or date, or provided the smallest bit of customer service. Today when I visited the store to request an update, I asked if he was the owner. He informed me that he was not. When asked for the owners information he said there wasn't one.Desired Settlement: I need my sofa repaired or replaced in a timely fashion.

Concerning the complaint of the sofa model # [redacted] that [redacted] purchased on 07/09/2011.

I am the one who sends in all the service complaints to the Manufacturer.

I have been going through aggressive breast cancer treatments and have not been at the store as much as I was hoping. I had been finding it difficult to schedule time to get into the store to download the pictures and send them off to the Manufacturer.

I am now feeling well and have caught up on all our services. I apologize that my illness has held up the timely process of resolving this matter.

Since the label with the model and serial number was missing, I had to go through years of purchase orders and invoices to find our purchase of the item and the serial number for the sofa, which is needed for any repair or replacement.

I have once again sent all the information to the Manufacturer and hope to receive a speedy response.

As soon as we hear a response from the Manufacturer , we will call the customer .
