We had a leak coming from our master bedroom and it was going down to our garage We called our home warranty agent and they assigned a plumber to come out on a Saturday to fix the issue The guy literally walked in, looked at it and said he'd need to come back That was ok because it was a Saturday after all and I was happy to get the ball rolling They came back a couple days later and fixed the problem...or so we thought Two weeks later my Son is taking a bath and water is POURING from our garage I called the plumbing people and explained the situation and the guy said he would send someone out again I believe it was Grant (not positive) that I spoke with to setup the call and I made it a point to say that I wanted the guy to actually fix the issue and not just look at it and say he needed to come back again Grant wouldn't do that He said if the plumber could fix it he would and if not he'd come back another day This baffled me because this was going to be the guys third visit He doesn't know what the issue is after the third visit? Then the glorious day comes when the plumber comes out for the third time and he goes upstairs to our master bedroom and turns on the shower and then turns it off He goes to the garage and shows my parents (who are there because I have to work) that it's just a tiny leak because of the caulking around the tub Had the gentleman turned on the tub (not the shower) and actually left it running while he went to our garage he would see the water POURING out At some point he mentioned to my Father that he was on his was to Vegas and I'd like to believe that this was a joke somehow but it would explain why the guy was so eager to get out of there After the guy left my Father went upstairs, turned on the tub and my Mom started screaming from the garage because they realized the water was pouring out of the garage and it was not just a "tiny leak" like the guy said You have no idea how badly I wish they would have done that when the guy was there but it didn't happen because they are nice people and took his word for it The paragraphs above don't even matter as much as what I'm about to write My parents called me right after the guy left Maybe minutes had passed and I literally hung up on them (my parents) so I could call GV Plumbing and get the guy to turn around and go back No joke, MINUTES! I spoke with Grant again who, I am certain deals with a lot of these calls and maybe doesn't have patience anymore and I explained the whole story Grant got the plumber on the line and the plumber was all over the place He said he turned on the shower, showed my Dad and that it was the caulkingThe plumber said that the leak is happening because of splashing in the tubI think he left out though that he turned the shower off as they went into the garage I don't even care about that I do care that Grant said that the plumber and I have different accounts of what is going on and that the plumber is already going to another job and cannot go back There is a vast difference between a tiny leak and water pouring like a fire hydrant from our ceiling I am not exaggerating and the fact that Grant dismissed me like I had no clue what I was talking about infuriated me Also, don't try to blame this on "splashing" that is insane If you turn the bath on the water pours directly into the spout underneath it That water is then pouring into our garage Splashing would not create thatTHERE IS NO SPLASHING! That guy should be embarrassed that he even said that I think the lack of help might be because this was through a home warranty service To sum up this long post - I don't even care that it took them tries and they never fixed it I care that they dismissed me like I was an it who didn't know what was going on They treated me like I exaggerated the water pouring out of my ceiling and that is what has me so upset I called my home warranty company who looked at the notes and knew right away that things were not adding up They are sending out another company - THANK GOD however, I doubt that company will seal up the holes that this company created in our garage and claimed to be coming back to fix

We had a leak coming from our master bedroom and it was going down to our garage. We called our home warranty agent and they assigned a plumber to come out on a Saturday to fix the issue. The guy literally walked in, looked at it and said he'd need to come back. That was ok because it was a Saturday after all and I was happy to get the ball rolling.

They came back a couple days later and fixed the problem...or so we thought. Two weeks later my Son is taking a bath and water is POURING from our garage. I called the plumbing people and explained the situation and the guy said he would send someone out again. I believe it was Grant (not positive) that I spoke with to setup the call and I made it a point to say that I wanted the guy to actually fix the issue and not just look at it and say he needed to come back again. Grant wouldn't do that. He said if the plumber could fix it he would and if not he'd come back another day. This baffled me because this was going to be the guys third visit. He doesn't know what the issue is after the third visit?

Then the glorious day comes when the plumber comes out for the third time and he goes upstairs to our master bedroom and turns on the shower and then turns it off. He goes to the garage and shows my parents (who are there because I have to work) that it's just a tiny leak because of the caulking around the tub. Had the gentleman turned on the tub (not the shower) and actually left it running while he went to our garage he would see the water POURING out. At some point he mentioned to my Father that he was on his was to Vegas and I'd like to believe that this was a joke somehow but it would explain why the guy was so eager to get out of there. After the guy left my Father went upstairs, turned on the tub and my Mom started screaming from the garage because they realized the water was pouring out of the garage and it was not just a "tiny leak" like the guy said. You have no idea how badly I wish they would have done that when the guy was there but it didn't happen because they are nice people and took his word for it.

The 3 paragraphs above don't even matter as much as what I'm about to write. My parents called me right after the guy left. Maybe 5 minutes had passed and I literally hung up on them (my parents) so I could call GV Plumbing and get the guy to turn around and go back. No joke, 5 MINUTES! I spoke with Grant again who, I am certain deals with a lot of these calls and maybe doesn't have patience anymore and I explained the whole story. Grant got the plumber on the line and the plumber was all over the place. He said he turned on the shower, showed my Dad and that it was the caulking. The plumber said that the leak is happening because of splashing in the tub. I think he left out though that he turned the shower off as they went into the garage. I don't even care about that. I do care that Grant said that the plumber and I have different accounts of what is going on and that the plumber is already going to another job and cannot go back. There is a vast difference between a tiny leak and water pouring like a fire hydrant from our ceiling. I am not exaggerating and the fact that Grant dismissed me like I had no clue what I was talking about infuriated me. Also, don't try to blame this on "splashing" that is insane. If you turn the bath on the water pours directly into the spout underneath it. That water is then pouring into our garage. Splashing would not create that. THERE IS NO SPLASHING! That guy should be embarrassed that he even said that.

I think the lack of help might be because this was through a home warranty service.

To sum up this long post - I don't even care that it took them 3 tries and they never fixed it. I care that they dismissed me like I was an it who didn't know what was going on. They treated me like I exaggerated the water pouring out of my ceiling and that is what has me so upset.

I called my home warranty company who looked at the notes and knew right away that things were not adding up. They are sending out another company - THANK GOD however, I doubt that company will seal up the holes that this company created in our garage and claimed to be coming back to fix.
