I would highly recommend Best Rate Title: We had a closing at 9am The night before the lender suddenly informed us by email that the funds could not be transferred until 1030am as they are a west coast company (Aim loan) that doesn't open until 730am (I have no idea why the lender didn't inform us about the problem before that.) Cindy from Best Rate stayed very late that night to try to contact someone from the lender to get the situation straightened out, hoping there was a misunderstanding about the time I wish I could say the lender was responsive, but they were not And a rescheduling of the closing for a later time was not possible due to the seller's lawyer's schedule The next day I went to the closing However, since the funds were not there, the seller's lawyer left without signing the documents And he said he had back to back appointments that prevented him from coming back later in the day We were looking at having to reschedule the closing for a later date Anyone who has been through this process knows that this is not a simple task Paperwork has to be redone and the numbers on the loan estimate change Not to mention the fact that my rate lock would have expired Thankfully I was living with my parents at the time, but this would have been a huge problem for anyone who had deadlines to meet as far as moving out of the place they were living However, the attorney from Best Rate went above and beyond by driving to Massachusetts to meet with the seller's lawyer and get all the paperwork done the same day
