I purchased a used [redacted] washer and dryer from Best Resale Appliances on 1/10/off of Craigslist They were delivered on time as promised When we turned the washer on it started leaking a little It ended up being a stripped hot water hose attachment on the washer that could not have been seen by looking at the machine, the worn thread was inside and on the bottom of the hook-up I called and the owner and he came over right away and put a new part in, the washer works great now Realize that this is a one owner company that delivers and installs for you at no additional cost Since they are USED machines unforeseen things will occur on occasion You can't expect IMMEDIATE resolution without patience on your part If you want perfect service and machines perhaps buying brand new machines, paying to have it installed, and buying a warranty is your answer Expect the high dollar prices that go with it My house is over an hour away from this business The owner traveled here twice and back to make sure I was satisfied and was very polite, punctual, and honestI will recommend him to others

I found this business through a [redacted]  ad, and was skeptical but after speaking with the owner, [redacted] ***, he assured me nothing was wrong with the washer or dryer I was interested in purchasingHe was polite and friendly and delivered and installed the washer and dryerThe same week I purchased the unit I used the dryer and it made a horrible screching noise that can be heard outside of my apartment unitI contacted Mr [redacted] and voiced my concerns and he said he would come by within a few days to replace the unit with one that wasn't malfunctioningDays went by with no correspondence, I would call him and he would ignore my callsI finally called from another number and he answered and apologized and said he would be by the next day to resolve my problemThe next day I called and texted him and he ignored all attemptsI then emailed Mr [redacted] voicing my concerns again and letting him know I would make a formal complaint if he did not respond.It has been a week since my last attempt to contact Mr [redacted] and there has been no responseI have been scammed and I hope my report saves others from such a horrible experience with a very convincing individual

I contacted *** through the OfferUp app and purchased a washer/dryer setHe was on time for delivery and got the appliances down in my basement and hooked up (no way I could have done this alone)He took the time to demonstrate that both appliances ran properly and even threw in some washing suppliesThe purchase was a couple of months ago and I have had no issues with the washer or dryerI would recommend and buy from him again

I posted a good used washer and dryer set on Craigslist for $ Within the first hour this phone number texted me and asked for me to pull the add and that he would pick them up at 9am on Easter morning I updated the posting for pending pick up hold Another offer was given within an hour to pick them up tonight The following morning 9am came and went I texted and he said he was coming from Collinsville,IL and would be there within the hour Long story short Never heard from him again and it is 11:41am

I went online to offerup an found rodney doll selling a washer an dryer set for cash I told I would buy them so he brought them over an after he left the dryer wouldnt work so I called him an he said nothing to worry about he would come over early today 10-27-an clean it out so it would work fine but when he didnt show up I called him back but he wouldnt answer the phone

I took care of this and repaired it
