Review: Best Solar Control did not complete my shutter purchase - they installed defective product, wrong size parts and missed installing parts necessary for operation. The installer was not truthful about the products. After several weeks of customer initiated follow up, I was told that the issues were the fault of Hunter Douglas. 60 days after paying in full for the shutters purchased, my issues have not been satisfactorily resolved.Desired Settlement: I want the installation fee refunded and the work completed with non-defective, correctly sized parts.

As mentioned in original response, new shutter panels were received today and this is scheduled to be completed the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, August 31st at 8:00 a.m. This appointment was coordinated with Ms. [redacted] on Thursday, 8/25/16 - so she is aware of expected completion date. Also, we have sent a check for $300 for her inconvenience and frustration (which she will receive tomorrow, 8/30) in addition to a $100 gift card to a local restaurant for our delays. I am rejecting this response because: At the appointment yesterday morning only 2 of the 4 defective panels on my sliding door were replaced. The new installer confirmed with [redacted] that all of the panels were in fact warped and needed replacement. I received an email from [redacted] later in the day to let me know that the other panels were ordered and that they expected to be able to complete the job on 9/12. [redacted] did advise me that she had reconsidered and decided to send me a refund of $300 toward the installation fee and a gift certificate to local restaurant. I have not checked the mail yet to receive them. The new installer ([redacted]) was very professional. He offered candid advice around the potential failure of floor guides and a solution that would achieve improved stability of the panel. Hopefully this matter will come to a satisfactory resolution at the next installation. I appreciate that the Revdex.com has been helpful to me in this process.
