I remembered exactly what happened the day that *** came to Best Steak & Gyros*** ordered burgers and gyroAround 10-minutes later she came back with a serious tone demanding for a refundI asked her what the problem was and, she replied with, “the meat is not done and the
sauce is too watered down and too sweet”I know this was wrong of me but I laughed a littleI know I shouldn’t have and this was very inappropriate/unprofessional to the situationAfterwards, I told her I’ve been making my gyros like this for years and I reassured her the meat was definitely cooked because and we are very well known for our sauceShe then told me she wanted a full refundI simply told her that Best Steak & Gyros has a strict no refund policy if you’ve ate the foodShe then argued that she wasn’t satisfied and continued with, “I want a refund or a burger to compensate the gyro.” I then agreed to give her another item for 50% off since she had already eaten half of the foodAgain she complained that she needed a full refundI told her sorry and that this was our policy for years and if she did not want to take the 50% item then she could call the policeShe then threw the gyros on the counter and leftTo conclude I did try to resolve the issue with our policy yet she was not satisfiedI understand that all customer’s needs must be met and for that I apologize*** will be receiving a full refund but I wanted you to know my side of the storyI also want her to know I am bending the no refund policy rule for her needs Thank you for your time, Sophal ***
