whom it may concern,We at Quality Auto Body were sorry to hear of the accident Mr***'s daughter was involved in and that she incurred injuriesWe understand the need to place blame, but all of the facts need to be considered before any conclusions can be madeThe most important factor is did the Vehicle provide appropriate protection to the passengersIn the case of Mr***'s vehicle, we did repairs to the [redacted] in April of 2016, Mr [redacted] chose to have the repairs done using "LKQ" (used parts) and "Aftermarket" parts to save moncy on thc repairWe agreed to this repair and all parts were inspected before installationAt the end of the repair the air bag computer systein was reset.When Mr [redacted] contacted us regarding this issue wc agreed to pay him the amount he was requesting if we were allowed to diagnose the vehicle to determine if the airbags functioned properly during thc accidentWhen there is a problem with the airbag systcin a light on the dash board is displayed to indicate a potential problemMr [redacted] stated that there were no airbag lights diplayed on the vehicle prior to the accident, Eleaning that the airbag system should function as it is intended toThe vehicle was disposed of before Mr [redacted] contacted us, therefore we were not given the opportunity to inspect itBased on the pictures he sent us there is no way to determine if the airbags should have deployedThe functionality of airbags is determined when the sensors placed strategically around the vehicle are triggeredI would also like to point out that the injuries incurred would likely have occurred regardless of airbag deployment because the driver airbag comes from the steering wheel protecting the upper body and faceIn the pictures Mr***'s daughter is visable and did not show any signs of injury to her faceThe injuries described came from the scatbelt tightening against her shouldcr (as it is supposed to do) and from her knee hitting the dash area below the steering wheel.Because Quality Auto Body was not offered the opportunity to inspect the [redacted] after the accident to determine why the airbag did not deploy and based on the other factors stated above I do not fect We (WCMr [redacted] the requested settlementAdditionally, there was more than a years time between the repairs in question and the second accident, If there was a problem with the airbag system the system indicator light would have alerted the driver of a problemWe regret that Mr***'s daughter was involved in an accident, but that is the risk of driving
I hired this company for weed control and fertilization based on a professional referral. When I became unsatisfied with service late summer they sent out someone to evaluate. This person agreed that the lawn was unsatisfactory and offered additional services at no charge to address the issues. These additional services were not completed so I contacted them again. This time they sent out their Residential account manager who did not stand behind the promises made by the first person. He did not offer a remedy a nor even seemed to care about loosing a client. He stated that he doesn't "sugar coat" anything and because my lawn wasn't as bad as he expected based on my complaint he felt it unwarranted. He didn't even come into the back yard to look at the issues there. He stated that the additional services fell through the cracks because the one who made them was off with an injury as well as discarded recommendations that were made by them stating they were unrealistic. The customer service provided was very poor. It didn't seem like staff was all on the same page with information or service expectations. A refund was not offered, I requested one and was told he would take it to the boss to cut a check for whatever services remained. I would not recommend this company for service.
