I am writing in response to a complaint of a dryer delivery to [redacted] ,Complaint ID # [redacted] .This customer was in our retail store, looked at two different models of dryers, and choose the specific dryer she wanted, which was the less expensive of the twoThe salesman actually pulled the information ticket off the dryer, walked her to the front point of sale computer and wrote the sale invoice for her.She told the salesman she needed the dryer converted from natural gas to LP gas.The conversion was completed, but while in route to the delivery to Ticonderoga,{approximately mile trip one way) we received a call from the customer saying she also needed the venting of the dryer changed from a rear vent to a bottom ventThe dryer was then brought back to our store, we converted the vent and redelivered the dryer.After the delivery was made the customer did call our storeShe received the dryer she picked out,with alterations she requestedShe insisted we take the dryer back or she would keep the dryer and we would give her a discountThis dryer cannot be resold with the alterations so we cannot take it back.We do not feel we need to give her a refund for a dryer she personally choose for herself
