July 8, 2015Dear [redacted] : Reference is made to the complaint submitted by [redacted] on June 8, and assigned Revdex.com ID of [redacted] regarding a damaged comforterAfter reviewing the referenced complaint and our records, our findings are that the comforter returned to me one year later (and currently in my possession) has been used and was heavily soiledMoreover, we have no basis to confirm that the comforter returned to us almost one year later as damaged was the same item that Best Tailoring and Dry Cleaning received for cleaning on April 21, from [redacted] (receipt [redacted] )Our policy is that all items cleaned have a.tag with a number, which would be identical to trial which appears on the receipt ( [redacted] )If after opening the plastic bag, [redacted] recognized that the comforter was "damaged", she should have immediately returned it unused in the plastic and the tag. Therefore, it is our opinion that if it were damaged, the comforter in question, never should have been used but returned "as is" to us immediately showing damages, at which time we could have made an objective assessmentConsequently, we contend that there is no liability on our behalf.Sincerely,

I filed my original...

complaint on 6/8/15, it was assigned numer [redacted]. I am writing to you because I did not receive a response from Revdex.com and the issue is still... an issue. I am writing to you again because after reaching out to me, I visited Sue at her business to work on a resolution. I arrived the following Sunday. She insisted the same thing again, that it was the design of the comforter that caused it to be ruined. I still find this completely inexcusable as she is the professional and could have avoided such an issue by telling me that she would not be able to clean it without damage. When I told her this, she said that it "isn't her job" to do so. I am completely aware that I paid for the original service almost 15 months ago, but I have had Sue take charge of all of my drycleaning (apparel only) for over three years with no problems. The fact that she went around my complaint as if I were trying to commit fraud against her is barbaric. I expect better service since I was a loyal customer to her for three years. She then verbally harassed me in front of at least 6 other customers by calling me "honey" and being all kinds of condescending. This is not how a professional handles their business. She insisted that the comforter would have a service tag on it- which when I received it the paper tag was on the PLASTIC bag covering the comforter not the fabric inside the bag as it should have been- and it has since then fallen off somewhere in my house. When I asked her for some additional info (to potentially find it I would need the number on it) she then refused to show me the original receipt when it has MY INFORMATION on it. In my original complaint I claimed that I was charged $79.99 and she insists that I was charged $45. Since it was so long ago she might be right- but I did find the receipt for the comforter since then and it is $79.99. Her withholding my information from me shows me she has something to hide.

Refund of $45 for the cleaning, and $79.99 to replace the comforter.

July 8, 2015Dear [redacted]:
Reference is made to the complaint submitted by [redacted] on June 8, 2015 and assigned Revdex.com ID of [redacted] regarding a damaged comforter.
After reviewing the referenced complaint and our records, our findings are that the comforter returned to me one year later (and currently in my possession) has been used and was heavily soiled. Moreover, we have no basis to confirm that the comforter returned to us almost one year later as damaged was the same item that Best Tailoring and Dry Cleaning received for cleaning on April 21, 2014 from [redacted] (receipt [redacted]). Our policy is that all items cleaned have a.tag with a number, which would be identical to trial which appears on the receipt ([redacted]). If after opening the plastic bag, [redacted] recognized that the comforter was "damaged", she should have immediately returned it unused in the plastic and the tag. Therefore, it is our opinion that if it were damaged, the comforter in question, never should have been used but returned "as is" to us immediately showing damages, at which time we could have made an objective assessment. Consequently, we contend that there is no liability on our behalf.Sincerely,
