Best Transport Inc.

They advertised that they were insured. They did one truck load and damaged all our furnature, and refuse to fix or replace the damage items. We hired this company on July 24, 2016 to move us. They advertise that they carry $30 000.00 imsurance and have all the moving equipment. They moved one load for us, and damaged our furnature (fireplace, leather couch, leather love seat, night stands, elliptical, ceder cheast, etc). The company had no moving straps and only 3 blankets. When we noticed the damage, the company employees did nothing, so we asked for the manager/ owner to come so we can talk with him. Eventually the someone came to the site to talk. [redacted]. We never had the movers do another load. The conversation ended after going in circles, and the individual representing the company left with no resolution. I phoned the number where we booked the service though and have been receiving a run around with phone numbers and people to talk to since than. [redacted]. They offered to compensate us $500.00, however they caused $1000's of dollar worth of damages. I am just asking the company repairs/ replaces what they have damaged as they advertise they are insured. Desired SettlementRepair or replace the furnature which was damaged well they where moving.

Missing Belongings/DocumentsA representative of the Best Transport Inc was contacted via an ad posted on [redacted] to help move my belongings to Toronto ON from Regina SK. A charge of $500 was agreed upon for the entire move. $250 was requested upon picking up my belongings in Regina which was fulfilled, the balance of $250 to be paid upon delivery. Belongings were picked up in Regina on the 15th of August 2016 and delivered on the 8th of September 2016. Upon delivery I noticed I was missing my 50 inch [redacted] smart TV including 2 medium size home [redacted] boxes filled with clothings, shoes, [redacted] 3, brand new [redacted] home theater system amongst other things I didn't remember at the time. The driver said the company will take care of it but they never did. I have contacted every member of that company to whom I had their contracts but no response. Text messages, phone calls, emails but all to no avail. I documented every attempt to reach someone at best transport inc in form of text messages, emails except for phone calls and voice-mail that was left on answering machines. In One of the boxes missing contains my school transcripts both high school, college and professional certificates dating back from Nigeria to Canada.[redacted]Desired SettlementThe only resolution is recovering my missing items [redacted]
