Re-Bath of the Southern Tier thanks Mrs. [redacted] for bringing her complaints to our attention, and for providing us an opportunity to respond. We are a family owned business that takes pride in satisfying its customers.  We rarely ever receive complaints, and when we do we try our hardest to...

address and resolve them. So that our customers know what to expect when contracting with Re-Bath of the Southern Tier, we have each of them meet with a consultant to discuss the labor and materials that we propose to provide.  We then have our customers sign a contract for a fixed price so that there are no hidden surprises awaiting them at the end of a project. On October 1, 2016, after meeting with one of our consultants, the [redacted]s entered into a contract with Re-Bath of the Southern Tier to complete a tub replacement in the bathroom at their home.  The contract specified the work that Re-Bath of the Southern Tier was going to perform, and described the accessories that it agreed to install. The [redacted]s agreed to pay Re-Bath the total amount of $7,208.00 for providing the labor and materials specified in the contract. On October 9, 2016, the parties agreed to modify the contract. On November 17, 2016, Re-Bath of the Southern Tier provided all labor and materials (including, but not limited to, demolition, plumbing and fixtures) necessary to complete the tub replacement called for in the contract.  We provided exactly what was called for by our contract and stand by the quality of our work.  In fact, on more than one occasion Mrs. [redacted] stated that she was happy with the work done by our crew. Unfortunately, to date the [redacted]s have not paid any money to Re-Bath of the Southern Tier for the labor and materials it provided on November 17, 2016.  At its core, this is a contract dispute between Re-Bath of the Southern Tier and the [redacted]s.  Re-Bath of the Southern Tier provided the labor and materials called for by our contract, and now the [redacted] are refusing to pay us.  We would like nothing more than to resolve this matter to the satisfaction of all parties.  Rather than work with us, Mrs. [redacted] instead promised us that she would see us in court.  At that point, we had no choice but to place this matter in the hands of our attorneys.  As this is not a forum for resolving legal disputes, Re-Bath of the Southern Tier will not comment further on this issue.
