I bought a Pmonths ago new for over $At the time I thought the free play in the slide was normalHowever, none of my other guns have free play in the slide, they are perfect (almost interference fit) with no side play, also just before I sent this in for inspection I found a gouge in the mating surface, like the coating wore off showing this gougeSig only had the gun a few days and sent it back saying the slide is within factory spec and lube it more oftenI clean and grease every contacting surface each time I use the gun, I am very particular about my gunsI took it to the range this week and it had feed problems on every single round for the first boxBefore I sent it to Sig, my son and I had feed problems with Remington FMJ, every other roundThis gun is a [redacted] and as far as the company backing up their firearms, poor serviceWill never buy another SigThis is my lst and last, also will not say anything good about Sig to any one

My Carry Nightmare had feeding issues when I purchased it years agoI called Sig Sauer and almost immediately found myself talking to an actual personThat person had a return label in my e-mail minutes later and days later I had my repaired pistol backNo ones quality control is perfect and defects will get through; But Sig took care of my issue promptlyyears and nearly 7,rounds later my runs like a champ and I would recommend Sig Sauer to anyone

My NEW Sig Sauer, PTACOPS, had problematic 14-round mags that would go "Nose Low" about midway through the feeding of rounds and he weapon would jam My weapon was manufactured on August serial # 51B (E27R-45-TACOPS-E) All Magazines did the same thing when loaded to rounds of cal "round-nose" ball ammo
MrJoshua A*** of Sig Sauer Customer Service was super professional and allowed me to warranty return all magazines for FREE exchange, postage paid FedEx by Sig SauerThe design is changed a little bit on the newer, replacement, PTACOPS magsThe follower is a bit different in shape and the magazine has a different looking top portion that is more, "open ended' It completely resolved my weapon; fail-to-feed issue, and now the pistol functions perfectly!
I am very happy with Sig Customer Service and especially with the courteous and professional manner in which I was treated by MrJoshua A*** As far as I am concerned, Sig Sauer stands behind their product and has earned my loyalty

I bought a P229 8 months ago new for over $1000. At the time I thought the free play in the slide was normal. However, none of my other guns have free play in the slide, they are perfect (almost interference fit) with no side play, also just before I sent this in for inspection I found a gouge in the mating surface, like the coating wore off showing this gouge. I clean and grease every contacting surface each time I use the gun, I am very particular about my guns. I took it to the range this week and it had feed problems on every single round for the first box. Before I sent it to Sig, my son and I had feed problems with Remington FMJ, every other round. This gun is a [redacted] and as far as the company backing up their firearms, poor service. Will never buy another Sig. This is my lst and last, also will not say anything good about Sig to any one

My 1911 Carry Nightmare had feeding issues when I purchased it 3 years ago. I called Sig Sauer and almost immediately found myself talking to an actual person. That person had a return label in my e-mail 10 minutes later and 10 days later I had my repaired pistol back. No ones quality control is perfect and defects will get through; But Sig took care of my issue promptly. 3 years and nearly 7,000 rounds later my 1911 runs like a champ and I would recommend Sig Sauer to anyone.

I had a warranty issue with a firearm purchased from Sig Sauer...a failure because the metal of the firearm was soft. Sig Sauer requires that customers pay for shipping for warranty work...which is $55 payable to Sig Sauer. So, everytime you have a warranty issue, you as the customer pay $55. In my case, their accounting department charged me double $55...I contacted them several times to correct the error. They did nothing for over a week so I had to get the Revdex.com involved.
