A little pricey for Paver Stones, but used HERO programThen things got worse2-day job took over 70+ days to completeSent crew from San Diego area to San Bernardino, hour drive to and backThat was part of their work day leaving hours to work, oops forgot once they got here to work they took a 30-minute lunch breakMeasurements were off and tried to gouge me for another $for extra feet of PaversFalsely reported job complete twiceThis outfit is not for meSince job completion I've been called twice more asking if I wanted a quote to start servicesNo one down there seems to know whats going on!! Offered my two free movie tickets as thank you for messing up my life and job (sent back)

Thanks to Greg [redacted] and Randy OUTSTANDING service throughout our complete re-roof and cool wall jobs well done. The work crews worked hard until jobs were done and went above and beyond in customer service from beginning to end.We love our new roof(house built 1964) and our cool wall is AWESOME we already feel how much better the insulation from the valley heat is with cool wall

The company worked extensively to get me the best color choice and worked very hard to do soThey even reduced my overall price to get me the best overall experience of the final productI'm very pleased with the Best Value Home Remodeling

Best Value Home Remodeling should due background checks on sub-contractors before they hire themI am the president of a HOA here in Oceanside, CaliforniaI am also the facilities chair responsible for maintenance and repairs in our senior communityI have been a general contractor for over years so I know what I'm taking about About a month ago a dubious contractor showed up in our community soliciting roof repairsHere in our community we require the home owner to fill out a architectural request that includes a statement of work, contractors name and materials to be usedThis "contractor" showed one of the three owners a blank form stating that he had taken care of all the information requiredTHIS WAS NOT THE CASEPrior to ARC approval and before a permit was pulled the "contractor" began demo on the adjacent roofIt seems that he had solicited repair work from an elderly women who needed a leak fixed on her carport roofIt was at that point when this operation was brought to my attention as facilities chairI approached the job site and asked to speak to the person in chargeWorkers on the roof pointed to another laborer on the groundI asked if there was an architectural request and a permit for the jobHe told me that the owner of the business was not around and would be back laterWhen I returned....the workers had demoed not just the carport roof but the entire south side of the garage gable roofWhat could have been a simple leak repair became an expensive roof job for the elderly womenThe original contracted roof had not yet been touched I met the owner and helped him fill out a request and ran it through the process of approval by the committeeThe next monday I contacted the "contractor" and informed him that he needed a city permitA permit was filed and the work on the original structure beganTwo days later...while work was being done on the permuted structure....I saw that the "contractor had started to demo another carport adjacent to the permitted structureThis time an ARC had been filedThroughout the week I kept an eye on the company however, during the middle of the second week of work I noticed a roof addition being constructedAgain, no ARC, no permitI walked into the carport to see what was being done and found one of the worst construction jobs I have seen in my 30+ years as a general contractorI waited for the "contractor" to return and asked him this question"What's wrong with this picture?" He replied..."I don't know....tell me." I began to describe each code violation, lac of permit, engineering concerns and just plane shabby workI asked ..."Why would you do something like this?" He replied..."The owner asked me to." It that point I asked do you have a contractors license? He said..."I'm working under another contractor's license"(Best Value Home Remodeling, IncI told him to remove the work he had doneI then contacted Best Value and left a messageAbout an hour later I got a call from "Chris" general manager for Best ValueI explained the situation however, over the phone you can't get a good picture of what actuarially took placeHe explained that he knew about this "contractor" and that he was giving him a chanceWHAT! I told Chris that I never wanted to see this "contractor" here againI'm not sure where this will leave usBut my next step is to contact Consumers AffairsI don't like taking things this farI haven't seen this kind of blatant scam in quite sometimeComing into a community to solicit illegal work and doing a terrible job at thatIt goes without saying that from this point on our process for approving contractors will change [redacted] - President / Facilities Chair
