Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I will not insult the people at this motel like they just did me however most of the respsonse they gave was untrue As stated before they did show us another room however after looking at it the mattress it also had bugs on itI don't know why in the world I would I be sending this email if the hotel manager had offered to give me another room or help find us another hotel I am still so angry about them just literally put us out on the streets at 9:PM at night with no other hotel option to go to There is three hours difference in where I live in Indianapolis versus here in San Diego It was 12:PM there when I had to call my wife to help us find somewhere else to stay You just don't do that to people where I come from They are correct about one thing I did say that they needed to compensate me for my room because the least a person should be able to expect is a CLEAN roomHowever I did not demand it nor did I become combative and threaten anyoneIf that was the case I would have been in JAIL because the police officer they called would have taken us to jail I really didn't appreciate the insults they said about me personally There is definitely more I could say and want to say but I won't I just want them to apologize and give me my money back They called the police not I When the police arrived he was very nice but said he couldn't do anything about them if they wanted us out of their hotel however he did MAKE them give us our money back even though it was for the three nights but they charged for four The officer said that we could take them to court however that would be sort of hard to do since I am from Indianapolis This response isn't really about the money but more about the integrity of these people character Again how do you kick somebody out of your motel in the middle of the night with nowhere to go and you can't even get your refund back the same night it has to get posted to your account I am still in shock about this We didn't find another place to stay until about 3:30AM if in their response to me that they were sorry and that they didn't intentionally mean to humilate me and ny son I would have let it go but you still are just trying to justify your behavior and this is unsatisfactory I will get my bank statement from the back and give it to the Revdex.com to see that you did charge for that Thursday If I am wrong I will apologize for that however I think the biggest apology should come from you on how we were treated as a guest I am not a vindictive person by nature but when you kick someone out of your motel in the middle of the night with nowhere to go and call the police to make sure we leave I had to get the Revdex.com involved and I will be positing a message on trip advisor as well Maybe you will think twice about doing this to someone else Regards, [redacted] ***

My husband and I were traveling through and stopped for a night at this motelThe clerk forgot to give us back my husband's license and we didnt think of it until after we returned homeWe were told we had to provide a prepaid postage package and send it to them 8n order to get it backWhen I called again and spoke with Justin, again, I was told it was my fault and he was not responsible for sending itI became agitated because he was extremely rude and condescendingHe then proceeded to hang up on me and not answer my calls again

We were asked to respond to complaint letter ID *** dated March 03, I spoke directly with Mr***, per his request, via phone the night the incident took place. As requested, I would like to take this opportunity to respond to the complaint made by Mr***.The guest did
complain of bugs in his room. The front desk agent inspected the room with the guest present and did not find any bugs. The agent offered another room and that room was also inspected with the guest. The agent on duty that night stripped the sheets and the mattress covers, then used a LED flashlight to inspect the entire bed, He moved the mattress back and inspected the box spring, including the seams and tuftsHe states he did not find any signs of bugs Please keep in mind we are in the middle of the spring break season and the room in question has been occupied every night since Mr***'s departure and we have not received any complaints. Furthermore, when offered a refund for the night, another room, or help finding another hotel, Mr*** refused and immediately demanded compensation for his troubles. I stated I am not in a position to offer immediate compensation beyond the charge for the night's stay. He became very combative and threatened to begin filing complaints anywhere he could His son was also verbally abusing the front desk agent, pacing back and forth in front of the agent, taunting him. I could hear the insults in the background while on the phone. It got to the point where the agent was afraid there would be a physical confrontation. That is when I made the decision to ask Mr*** and his guest to leave immediately. He refused to leave and wanted us to call the police. We obliged and called the La Mesa Police Department It was not our intention to humiliate the guest, we apologize. The police were only called after the verbal insults from the guests escalated and the agent on duty was afraid a physical altercation may occur.In regards to the desired settlement, the funds for that remaining night's stay, in the amount of $190.70, were refunded to the guest's credit card on 2/26/15. Attached is a folio detailing the transactions. We are very sorry that the incident took place and we apologize for any inconvenience. The room has been inspected on a daily basis with no evidence of bugs found, we will continue to monitor the room in question.Our Sincerest Apologies,*** ***

Review: My son and I stayed in the hotel on 2-23-15 for three nights and it was suppose to be for a week. However on the third night my son had broken out on his left arm so I took him to the clinic and the doctor said he had gotten bitten. I went back to the hotel and took off sheets and sure enough there were bugs on the mattress. I went downstairs to address the issue with the hotel people and they said the person I needed to talk to was out and when she come back she would contact me. In the mean time they showed me another room and it took had bug. That is when I told the person that they either have to find a better room or give us our money back because we can't sleep where there are bugs. Not less than half an hour one of the staff came to our door and said the manager said we had to live. This was at 9:00 or so and no place to go in a place I know nothing about. So I went back down to try and talk to them and they would hear it. We went back up stairs to pack and within a half hour the POLICE was at our door to make us leave. How in the world can they just kick someone out of their hotel just becuase you tell them you need to go to another room or get your money back. This was an humiliating experience and one no one should have to endure. Pluse they didn't give me all my money back. We even asked them if there was a sister hotel we could go to.Desired Settlement: I want a full and complete settlement on what I paid with an apology. I want the rooms inspected and I want for no other person to have to leave in the middle of the night without anywhere to go. I want my email to be posted so others can be warned. I know all of this can't be done but at least get the rest of my money back and have the Revdex.com show my complaint if anyone looks this up.
