Review: The manager was extremely rude to us when we voiced our concerns about the cleanliness of the hotel when we were checking in. We informed him that the toilet had urine all around the rim and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a few weeks and he told us that we could find another place to stay. There was also mold under the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink and the tub was not cleaned either. There were ants on the floors and crawling up the walls. After staying 2 out of the 4 nights that we had paid for, we found a bed bug on the 2nd morning in the hotel. My husband went to inform him and he said "No Bug" and that he would have someone come in and spray the room or we could leave and he would refund us for 2 nights. When my husband and I were able to find another place to stay, my husband went back to give him the key and the manager said it was too late in the day to check out and we would not be getting a refund. We spent 3 hours of our day, looking for another hotel to stay at that had vacancy and then moving everything. My family was stressed during the whole vacation because of this manager and his rudeness and the unhealthy living situation.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund in the amount of $633.88. That is the cost that we were charged for the 4 nights at the Sea Foam Motel. Yes, there was pain and suffering and stress and a ruined vacation because of this all happening, but we would be satisfied with just getting a refund of what we paid. We will definitely be more careful in the future of choosing a place stay and I would hope that this hotel and it's management will take this as a sign of the need for improvement in all areas!

By my experience 1 work 15Yr in sea foam motel I know she is problem he check in 12 pm 5 Min later complaint bathroom not clean I sent H/K clean all bathroom next day H/K the she try to clean the suite food under wear close shoes swimming supply back Very where she can clean the room ,3 days later 8 amBarn (game star) he ask H/K I have bed bug so I when to see where the bedbug he say my wife in site I can open the door, I ask the him always customer Right So if went to leaveI will refund 2 nights and Go he‘say let me ask my wife he never come back H/K went to room after he left look for bed bug with me I am the owner NO bed bug . later 4,45pm customer back to the office treated me he show 3 finer in my face he say 3 nights refund or I write bad review you motel have bed bug. I do apologize to Revdex.com to situation and complaint the guest But Sorry No refund.

This response if very hard to read and understand (better grammer and punctuation would be helpful). I took several photos as proof of how horrible this place truly was. When you are paying to stay somewhere, you should not have to clean the place first because of how dirty and unsanitary everything is. The toilet seat was up when we arrived and there was urine on the rim of the toilet and as I've said before it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Housekeeping did not come and clean the toilet that day, I had to clean it myself. I should not have had to do that! There was mold under two of the cabinets and therefore, I refused to use any cabinets so our food was on the counters and table. Also the dresser in the bedroom was broken, therefore our clothes stayed in the suitcases and the suitcases stayed in the hallway because there was no room anywhere else. Besides my husband and myself, there were also our 3 children staying there (ages 6, 10, 15). There was a bed bug found on a pillow on the morning of 6/28/14. My husband took the pillow out and showed the housekeeping guy that was there and there were several other witnesses of this. Several of our friends were also staying at this place and they also saw the bed bug that we found in our room. I think this manager is unprofessional and we deserve our money back. I have more that I can state in this response, but I will be more than happy to save it for court.
