In a collaborative effort to resolve dispute, Mrs*** and I negotiated in good faith a satisfactory payment amount as full and final settlementI believe the issue is resolve and conclude Mrs*** could as well.Best regards,*** ***

As we do thank Mr*** for his business. At first glance of the pictures, it did appear that the same problem existedThat is why a representative stated it would be
covered. However once inspected by technician it was clear that the drainage that was installed, was working properly. The drainage installed did not need to be adjusted. (there would have been no charge to adjust what was installed) After further inspection customer needed more drainage installed on the back side of this area. It is an area we did not work in and that is why there was an minimal expense to come back and add this drainageWhen proposal was completed the technician would have inspected the area the customer was concerned about, we try not to over charge a customer for outside drainage because your dynamics of your property may change, so we provide a proposal based upon our opinion at that time. As explained to Mr*** when dealing with outside drainage, today it could work properly and tomorrow a neighbor could do something to their property affecting the conditions of your property I have spoke to Mr*** several times and even have him on the schedule for repairs after this batch of rain moves through our area, to complete the additional work. Mr.*** made no comment of his dissatisfaction or him not understanding the additional expenseI was quite taken back from this filing as we discovered he needed additional work completed, I had him on the schedule for repairs and the charge to add this work was minimal. We always try to work with our customers to make sure you are satisfied with the work completed. In this case the customer needed additional work. When outside drainage is completed it may need to be adjusted in the same area, that we would not charge for. If we need to add more drainage a minimal charge will be charged for the additional workAgain, we thank Mr*** for his business and look forward to completing his project I feel confident the customer will be satisfied upon completion

Mr*** REFUSED to finish the job that he contracted to do,yet he wanted to be paid in full He then agreed to provide materials so the project could be completed He REFUSED to provide the materials I am going to need $5,to at least begin to cover the extra costs of hiring a THIRD contractor to finish the project that Mr*** originally contracted to do Am I really expected to accept whining an an answer?September 19, 2015I reject Mr***’ offer. On August 26, Mr*** came to my home and REFUSED to do any more work. He refused to complete the contract for which I had already paid $3,000.00. He said that the job at my house was too difficult and that he could not afford to lose any more money on my project. He wanted the contract to be paid in full. We negotiated, he agreed to provide: a dump bed, sand, cement, sealer, scaffolding, for the rest of the project and I would contract with Mr***, his employee, to finish the workMr*** was to give Mr*** weeks off from Best Waterproofing to finish the job that Mr*** refusedto doI paid Mr*** $2,000.00. On Friday August 28, I texted Mr*** and asked for the materials to be delivered so that the project could continue. On Sunday August 30, Mr*** replied: “Not going to happen that cost money can’t put no more money out their it is not my job my scaffolding ison and being use…” No materials were ever delivered. After my original complaint to Revdex.com, I was hoping that Mr*** would live up to his part of the second agreement and deliver the agreed materials and so allow Mr*** to finish. He did not. Mr*** is ill; I have had to hire yet another company to complete my project. This company has done in days more quality work than Mr***’ company did in months. Since having to hire so many different people to do Mr***’ contracted work, I will need more recompense. In addition to the money that I asked for in my first complaint, $2,434.50, I need $3,more to pay for the completion of my home repair. That is a total of $5,

This customer and I have been working daily for a resolution. We can complete as promised, however in the best interest of the client I have recommended to bring in a company that specializes in window repairs. Once we started with replacing rotten wood around the windows we realized that a lot more of work needs to be done to do the job right, and in the best interest of the customer, we have offered the remaining balance on the contract go towards those repairs. I have provide *** with bids on window repairs and painting that only come up to 3,which means we in good faith for any inconvenience forfeited the remaining balance of 4,260.00. We continue to work daily on coordinating schedules to get the other work completed in a timely fashion. I feel confident that the customer and I can work together and get any additional concerns resolve Best Waterproofing "Protects your home" ***

Well I am very surprised to hear from Ms*** in this manner I had been working with them on a resolution First nothing has been paid on this contract, we have not collected any fund for this work completed I have attached the contract where it clearly states the work to be
completed It said nothing about going under the sidewalk and Nothing about putting grass seed down (everyone has their own preference of seed) Where the discharge line is now, my technicians met with her husband and that is exactly where he told them to put it I even adjusted pricing for the mis understanding about where the pipe will end You know some times you need to look at what a company did for you and not look for something that wasn't on the contract to competeAt the time the client signed we were booked out about weeks out I heard the urgency with the customer and had it put on the schedule in a few weeks The day we were to complete it, it was to rain, I moved her up to the day before to get it completed before the rain When the line was not where she wanted it we came out the next day on overtime hours to meet with her husband about where exactly he wanted it That is where it is now, not on the neighbors yard nor a messExactly what the contract states towards the front yard I did offer to send the neighbor a gift card for the slicing for the dog fence that was spliced back together But for their inconvenience I did send a gift card to themWe as a company went out of our way to accommodate with scheduling, not taking a deposit for the work, pricing (reducing the price) and even taking care of the neighbor Even though her husband approved placing of the pipe, since no funds have been exchanged I will have a crew out today to reverse the work that she is so unhappy aboutI will have the crew take up the pipe and leave it as it wasShe will owe us nothing

I am very surprised to hear from this client in this manner.  It was discussed many [redacted]es because of the condition of her brick that the project was much bigger than quoted and expected. When started the project it was to replace bad or broken brick about 200 brick. Once the condition of...

the brick was exposed this job should have been a 12,000. plus job. The brick she speaks of is a skid of 1,000 bricks that they did purchased however our company paid the labor to have them put in. Our contract was for only 200.  We had several discussions that the condition of the brick did not allow to have certain ones replaced, when you took one out 10 other came out with it.  We discussed several [redacted]es that the chimney will not be completed on this contract because the condition of the brick did not allow just to replace brick, it needed to be completely taken down and rebuilt. The reason for the delays in this project was strictly unable to keep qualified brick layer to compete this job. We were unfortunately at the mercy of 4 different brick layers during this project completion.  The person she speaks of [redacted] has not work for my company since July 17th.  This person was fired.  I specifically called [redacted] and told her that [redacted] no longer work for us and that he was not to be completing anything for Best Waterproofing. I called her again and told her who would be out there next to take his place that person did not work out etc.  [redacted]'s final pay period with Best Waterproofing was July 17th.  In her comments she said she contracted a person to finish the porch and the chimney.  That person was [redacted] that DID NOT WORK for us. Her grievance is now with [redacted] not Best Waterproofing. She gave [redacted] a check, like she said to complete the chimney. Not Best Waterproofing. We did close to 800 bricks when the contract was for 200. . Best Waterproofing is Not in any way scam artists.  We went above and beyond to help [redacted] on her project.  The condition of her brick and the way it was originally build was not correct all we did was try to help her complete her project and help her replace all those bricks and continue to come back and come back and pay labor to replace many more bricks that was not originally discussed to replace. At the [redacted]e the contract was discounted by 1,000. it was agreed upon Best waterproofing was released from the contract.  Best Waterproofing will not be refunding her money she paid to [redacted] to complete her chimney.  She was specifically told, he did not work for our company. She hired him independently.Even though the 1,000. was to release our company from our contract, I will refund [redacted] for her solar lights and a reasonable amount for her blue spruce tree. I honestly feel her grievance is with [redacted] now not Best Waterproofing.  This should not reflect through Best Waterproofing as the 1,000 was to settle any and all contracts with Best Waterproofing.

As these documents, provided by [redacted], support exactly that her contract was NOT with Best Waterproofing but with [redacted] that was no longer an employee of Best he was an independent contractor at this [redacted]e. His termination date with Best Waterproofing was 7-16-15 which I made [redacted] myself fully aware of that. The documents support also that on the 7/23/15 I spoke with [redacted] again about the condition of the brick and we were not going to be able to replace bad brick on chimney it needed to be re-built.  She did not want to go through Best Waterproofing for the additional expense of that. She hired [redacted], per her contract she supplied.  Separate contract for [redacted] to re-build chimney, as per her documents provided.  At the [redacted] these documents were signed [redacted] gave [redacted] all materials listed on 8/26/15 when she paid Best Waterproofing the 2,000. contract paid in full. Her new contract was with [redacted] an independent contractor. She terminated our contract when paid in full for work completed and discount given. This is Not in any way Best Waterproofing's contract. Everything was given to [redacted] to complete her job she needs to take it up with [redacted]. I feel the documents provided shows Best Waterproofing was no longer in contract with [redacted] Sanders and strongly disagrees that this gets associated with Best Waterproofing in any way. She paid [redacted] the 1,000. check for chimney, [redacted] was given all materials listed, she needs to contact [redacted]. Again, she was told he no longer worked for us as of July.  She hired him independently  in August.  This is not Best Waterproofing.
