I visited the Innovative Chiropractic Rehab & Massage located at 132nd St SE Suite C, Mill Creek, WA in late mayI provided my insurance card to the, I came back the following day for an evaluationThey took X-rays and preformed an eamMy insurance did not pay due to the high deductibleI was charged around $They should have checked with my insurance first before preforming the servicesI told the Chiroropracter later in the the day during a phone conversation that I would not have had this done had I known that my insurance would not cover itWhat is the point of providing insurance before an appointment of they don't run it
I made an appt for my husband who was having back pain and was assured that he would be seen and treated the same dayHowever, upon getting him into the exam room they told him that he would need X-rays takenHe had the x-rays done and the after was told it would take 24hrs to review said X-rays, but they would see him the next dayHe was in too much pain at the time to dispute the X-rays and then waiting hrs to actually be treatedIf this had been made clear upon making the appointment we would have sought services elsewhereLeaving the office still in pain we then had to seek other alternativesWe recieved a bill indicating that an amount was due for the X-rays even though they had been taken under pretensesI contacted their office manager Fernanda who refused to reverse said charges and said while this is their office's practice despite being listed as a walkin/urgent chiropractic type of officeOverall we were misleadWe would like for them to reverse the charge
