Best Western charged my debit card for a reservation that had been cancelled more than 5 weeks previous to the intended stay. On April 7, 2017 I booked a room via telephone for my family for 1 night, May 20, 2017 as we were to attend a wedding at the facility. Two hours after making the reservation I called back and cancelled the reservation as we had discovered that our intended child care would not be available for the entire night. I was told not to worry, and that the reservation had been cancelled as requested. Five weeks later, on Monday May 22, 2017 Best Western charged my account 154.99 for the room reserved, stating that we were a "no call" no show. I called and explained that I had cancelled the room almost immediately after making it and was told I needed to prove I cancelled the reservation. I explained that it was all done by phone and what type of proof could I offer. I asked to speak to a manager as was told that there wwas none available and that the GM, Donnie S*
