Review: On August 3, 2013, my husband and I checked into the Best Western in [redacted]. The next morning my husband was in the shower and noticed mold or extreme lack of cleanliness in various areas of the shower to include the bottom of the shower curtain. These spots were so alarming that I opted to bath at the sink. I also tried contacting the front desk and was basically blown off as not important. I sent an email to the manager explaining the situation and also included pictures. She did call me back and stated that since I booked the room through and on line service ([redacted]) I would have to deal with them concerning the issue. She also stated that she would work with them to ensure a full refund was given. I then contacted [redacted]. Although I booked the room on their site I still booked the room directly with the hotel. On my behave, [redacted] contacted Best Western and was told a total refund wound be issued. The total cost of the room was 99.18. Best Western issued a refund in the amount of 43.46. They then recharged my card for a hotel stay on Aug 8th in the amount of 21.73 of which we did not reside. So really I only received a refund of 21.73. As stated above I have pictures of this bathroom and it is very unsanitary and unnerving. I will gladly supply the pictures upon request. We will not be residing at this establishment again.Desired Settlement: Would like a total refund for this visit in the amount of 99.18. Thank you.

Operations Manager with Best Western states that they can only provide for 50% of the refund that they were paid. Best Western split the room charge with [redacted]. They received [redacted] for the room. They will only offer 50% of the [redacted] (21.73) to the consumer because she stayed in the room. They were not told of the mold until the next day. Typically if they are notified they can move the customer to another room and try to rectify the situation.

The rest of the refund will need to come from [redacted].

Review: Checked in at 12:25 am 8/9 checked out 6:45 am 8/9 woke up to no power total black out not emergency lights could not shower, shave, no ice in machines, no food no help from anyone had to find ice for my insulin miles away. Called and spoke to Katie has not answered my calls since and has not credited my [redacted] card will contact Revdex.com if no satisfaction from Glen Allen InnDesired Settlement: I want my credit card credited the full amount I paid as I received zero service
