Review: I was charged a smoking fee of 200 and late check fee of 50. I did not smoke anything in the room. I checked in to a dirty room at 5:30am. And left at 10:45am. This is outrageous I demand a full refund to my atm card. I called the motel and they were rude. I guess they feel ripping people off is fine and routine to there business. Don't use a card what ever you do. Crooks. The room was full of bugs in the shower could not use. and filthy dirty room.Desired Settlement: Full refund 253.00 and apology. Date of stay was 3/7/2016.

You can see by the guests receipt that his room rate is 95.39 and tax 7.63. This equals 103.02. The additional charge of $150.00 is for smoking pot in the room. The room was witnessed by 3 of our staff members, [redacted] - Head Housekeeper, [redacted]-Assistant Housekeeper and [redacted] - Front Desk Manager. This guest also contacted BW Corporate and after they called us they told him the charges have to stick. The guest checked in at 4:30 an did not come to the desk to check out. The housekeeper discovered when she went to the room that it was smoked in with pot. We charge for smoking tobacco products and marijuana, both make smoke and smell in our non-smoking rooms. You can see by the signed Guest Registration form that it was checked and had an initial by the undeclared pets and I understand there is a $150.00 per day cleaning charge for detectable smoke odor in a non-smoking room. A lady called to ask what the charge was for some time in April and it was explained that it was a smoking fee of $150.00, I could hear in the background a man telling the lady that he does not smoke and they were only in the room for like 2 or 3 hours. I informed the lady that we have it documented that it had heavy pot smoke in it and that we have 3 of our staff members check the rooms whenever there is a problem. She was telling this to the man in the background and he was just yelling and then she hung up. We also have the BW Corporate Customer Service inquiry notification. The agent at her last conversation with the guest tells him the charge will stand, he had gotten upset and stated he did not smoke and he will dispute the charges, and he hung up. My housekeeping report shows 000 to the room 185 so it could not be sold because of the smoking in the room. He arrived at 4:30 am on 3/6/16 which is considered checking in on 3/5/16 with a check out day of 3/6/16. Room was vacated on 3/6/16 when housekeeper went to the room at noon to clean. I am rejecting this response because:the hotel is not telling the true story. I did not smoke in the room. I'm an honest person with a spotless record. Have honors from the state of California for volunteer work. Have been asked to serve on California Grand Jury. I don't lie and would love to take this to court. I hope the three have spotless records and no drug offenses.
