The consumer did a charge back on there credit card and we did not fight that so he did receive his refund

Review: My wife and I rented two rooms on 9/18/2014, both rooms were reserved for 4 nights. After checking in to our rooms, my wife began to notice stains on the wall of our room that appeared to be blood, the window in the room was broken and had black mold, the toilet didn't flush, the bottom of the shower curtain had a pink "slime" on it and the list goes on. The room was filthy. My wife notified the desk attendant about the toilet and she was told that it would be taken care of the next morning. Due to the fact that we had two rooms, my wife and children used the toilet and shower in the second room. The next morning I left for work early, my wife called me around 11 am and said that she had once again asked the desk attendant about the toilet and she was told that they didn't have a maint. worker and that when she(the desk attendant) had time she would be up to take a look. It was then we decided to check out and go elsewhere. We were told we would get a refund for the 3 nights we didn't stay ($320.34) however the manager would have to write a check and she would be in later. We check back twice a day for the next 3 days and she "was never there" and wouldn't return our phone calls. We contacted the corporate office for Travelodge and was told if we were not refunded by 9/25/13, they would step in. It is now 10/1/13 and we still do not have a refund. We have tried to contact the Travelodge and they screen our calls (caller ID.)Desired Settlement: At the time we would have settled for the 320.34 the we were told we would be refunded. Due to all the run-around and aggravation I feel we are entitled to a refund of the total amount paid. $427.12

Last week, after many calls to Travelodge's corporate office, and the

Sturtevant hotel, we did receive a refund (almost a month late) for the

3 nights that we did not stay. This hotel is an embarrassment to all

hotel chains. it was filthy, un-kept and should be shut down. I

recommend contacting the DHHS to investigate the cleanliness and overall

sanitary conditions of this hotel! We were not even given so much as

an apology for the dissatisfaction we experienced. After further

investigation on various web based rating sites, we found MANY

complaints similar to ours. To answer your question" are you satisfied

with the results" absolutely NOT.
