Review: Bed bugs were found in my child's bed at this hotel. This is a health code violation, and when you pay for a hotel room of great standard you expect good quality.Desired Settlement: I would like an email apology.

I am writing to express my sincere apology for the issues you experienced during your stay at our Best Western Kings Quarters hotel. Our goal is to provide clean, comfortable accommodations to all our guests, in a safe & fun atmosphere and I am so sorry that we did not meet this goal for your stay. We do have a very aggressive pest control program in conjunction with [redacted], however Bedbugs are one of the most difficult pests to locate until there is a guest that has been bitten. Bedbugs travel with other guests in suitcases, clothing or other items and normally cannot be discovered until someone has been bitten. We inspect each room after a guest checks out looking for signs of any kind of pest infestation and have [redacted] on a 24-hour call response cycle. Unlike some other types of bugs, bedbugs do not carry a disease but they are a huge nuisance and create very unpleasant itching. Again I apologize that we did not find any sign of infestation until you were bitten. [redacted] has treated the room and the adjacent rooms as a preventative measure. We have refunded your stay and in addition, I am sending you a [redacted] Best Western Travel Card for your inconvenience. This card may be used at any Best Western Hotel worldwide towards another stay. Once again my apologies, and please know that your experience is not the normal experience of our guests at Kings Quarters.
