Review: I suffer from [redacted]'s. In addition, my Mom passed away three weeks ago and I came up to Dutchess County to be closer to my son. A week before, I made a reservation for this hotel online through AAA ([redacted]) for 11/**-11/**. In my mind I thought I was checking in on 11/**. The morning of the **, I call to find out how early I can check in and discover I was supposed to check in the day before. I was a no-show. I explained the error I'd made. Naturally I should have checked the email confirmation. I was told I would be charged for my no-show (which I thought meant the one day). I checked in on 11/** at 1:00 pm - two hours after our phone conversation. Late last night, I discovered I'd been charged the full weeks stay - twice. After many phone calls this morning to: my bank, the corporate customer service dept at [redacted] and [redacted], I was referred back to [redacted]. I was told by corporate that the monies were with the hotel itself in Poughkeepsie where I'm staying and that the [redacted] here was not releasing the funds; there was nothing corporate could do. This is not a franchise, as Corporate confirmed. The Custimer Service Rep, [redacted], told me I could take my complaint to you. I have been looking for an apartment. I need every cent I have or I will be homeless. I dont understand why corporate can't resolve this, or the [redacted] here won't.Desired Settlement: I want the monies charged for the initial reservation under [redacted] from 11/**-11/** to be refunded back to [redacted]. So they can refund me. Please.
