This hotel staff was very rude. Our hotel was booked through my job and they did not extend the hotel before checkout. Understanding they came to say we had to check out but were very rude. The hotel was extended by they did not seem happy. Then they insisted on cleaning the room even though it did not need cleaned. I was told when on the phone we had bsb to have the room cleaned which I have never heard before. Then my boyfriend went out for a cigarette OUTSIDE and even told the maid this. When he came back the room was locked. They said the room smelled like smoke which was a complete lie because he would not smoke in a room and it was under my job so definitely not. They were very rude and said we had to get out. The only nice one was the second shift clerk she was very understanding and gave us the general managers email to express this targeted horrible customer service.

Contact by the Business We should not be charged as its through my job but it is my housing payment. We should be refunded for the day and not have to pay whatever fees they are insisting when there was no smoking in the room.
The guest stayed with us for multiple nights. Our policy is to ensure guestrooms for extended periods get cleaned to avoid a very extensive cleaning at checkout. Further more, the guest smoked and whether they said it was outside or not, they brought this horrible smell into the room and it was in all the fabrics requiring us to wash all the bedding, draperies, etc to remove the smoke smell. The guest did not abide by our non-smoking policy.
