Review: On Sunday, JUne 21, I checked into Best Western Plus Regency Hotel, on [redacted]. I used my [redacted] for the first night. For the next three nights, I asked that a regular credit card be used, and it was. So far, so good. On Wednesday, June 24, I askedto etend the stay by two nights and unfortunately used the debit card again. Immediately, I was charged for the two nights. BUT, on Thursday, early afternoon (AFTER OFFICIAL CHECK OUT TIME), [redacted] the general manager of the establishment, aggressively pounded on my door, began violently screaming that a cat was in my room. When the reservation was made, it was clear that my son't companion/service cat would be joining us, by the way. My son offered the official paperwork, his Doctor's paperwork and the Federal laws concerning service/companion animals. Mr. [redacted] screamed that he didn't need to see the law, that this was against the policy of Best Western. He said that he would charge for damage (which, even he admitted later there was NONE...not even the scent of an animal. Wekeep things immaculate and perfect.) and additional $100 and on and on. When told that he couldn't just randomly create charges on my card, he again screamed and threatened, I quote: "I have your card number on file! I can do anything I want!" And, reader, he did. Upon my return home, he charged for the two nights that we did not stay in the hotel and an additional random $20, totalling $257.36. I printed out my bank statement, showed my bank the receipt for the two nights at [redacted] a dispute was filed. That was Monday. On Tuesday, June 30, I received an alert from my bank, printed out another statement - a mess. This time he charged for one night and an additional $100! Now, the problem: Mr. [redacted] is a thief and a liar! He stole and has my bank statement in chaos. As of this typing, he stole $218.68 from me. Tomorrow, it may be different and on Monday, it was $257.36! Sitting at the bank, I cannot earn $$$!Desired Settlement: I work from home. I have spent two days sitting in the bank filing disputes and figuring this mess out. I have been unable to meet any deadlines! I have e-mailed Mr. [redacted]...no response. I phoned Mr. [redacted] (CEO)...no response. Wasting time, not earning!Best Western lies, steals, shuns Veterans. A Veteran with a service animal was turned away before my eyes! I demand $357.36 credited to my [redacted] Account ending in [redacted] immediately. Mr. [redacted], the thief, [redacted] knows the account number.
