Best Western-West Memphis Inn

We had questions about our bill and clerk at front desk shut any questions down. Heated argument ensued and we were asked to leave with no refund!Friend reserved room thru [redacted]. Used my debit card during check-in where clerk "cancelled" the [redacted] reservation and put room in my name at full price. When our husbands arrived, they went to question the clerk about the billing and were completely put off by the clerk. Argument became heated and nasty comments were made to the clerk. She called one of us crazy and said we should leave and claimed to be calling the police. My husband stood calmly at the desk while she was on the phone ranting to someone. We cleared out of the room and went to another hotel down the road. This all occurred in the span of 15 minutes, tops. When our husbands arrived at the other hotel, my husband still had the card keys to the room at Best Western because the desk clerk would not even take the time to talk to him. He asked me to take him back to the Best Western so he could return the keys. He went in and was inside for 5 more minutes waiting for her to stop ranting to whoever she had on the phone and talk to him. He returned the keys and tried to get a refund for the room we obviously were not going to stay in and she refused. He got a receipt so they could not claim that we had damaged the room in any way and left. So I was charged $160.38 for a hotel room that I was in for all of 10 minutes! I tried calling to talk to the hotel manager today, 5/5/15, and she answered the phone claiming to be the manager and was just as unreasonable with me as she was with my husband. Said that I needed to talk to my husband. The room was charged to ME! I have been to my bank and they will file a complaint if I want them to, but they don't think it will do any good because hotels usually have non-refundable clauses. I feel like she purposefully deceived us on the billing. She even claimed to have cancelled the [redacted] reservation and we have since found out that she in fact did not do any such thing. She got her money for the room and she's done. There is no talking to her. She is completely uncooperative and unreasonable.Desired SettlementI want a full refund of $160.38.

Hello, I drove all the way from [redacted] to stay at this hotel for my grandson College graduation. I get to the hotel and I asked [redacted] the hotel rep if they have a late check out. She said I can give you 30 minutes. I stated that why can I have a 1-2pm check out she said no that's not there policy so I proceeded to walk to the car to grab my cell phone. She followed behind me and saw that it was 2 people in the car. Now the third person was getting her own hotel room. Before I could explain that she called me an liar. I can see if the third party was going in the elevator with us or anything like that. But prematurely she assumed that just because another person was in the car that they was coming in my room. Very nasty attitude so I tried to explain which led to arguing battle and she cancelled my reservation that I already paid for. Worst experience of my life. I am 60 years old to be playing games like this and it made my blood pressure go up. This is the worst experience and no one should ever go to this hotel.Desired SettlementI don't want any settlement- I just want everyone who is traveling "DO NOT EVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL
