I am trying to cancel a reservation for july11 to july 18 but they refuse to cancel it the confirmation number is and the pin code***the resoon I don't want the room because my meeting was canceled be beause of the coria 19 vires I just want to get my money

I have attached the agreement to this email which is black and white. Reservation is for 3 people with two double beds. I am sorry that his meeting was cancelled and hope he and his family are doing well during COVID-19 times. Hotel stands behind their charge to the guest and the guest needs to address this with the 3rd party, not the Hotel directly. I am rejecting this response because: This is not a normal accurance. Once the hotel new we wanted to cancel they charged our card. I am sure we are not the only people canceling because the journalism conference is a large event. I feel that some allowences should be made. we are willing to take a different date , but they would not consider that. I feel that the amount of money is to large to lose at this time when everyone is out of work.

I am following up on ***; Regardless he accepts it or rejects Hotels response, it is between him and 3rd party (***) where he has a contractual agreement. Again he did not book it directly with the Hotel. *** has also disputed the charge with his credit card company which is unethical on his part. He provided his method of guarantee and agreed on terms and conditions. He took a risk and knew the conditions of this risk when he booked via 3rd party.
