We received an inquiry in January for plush toy designs including eyewear accessories from *** ***. We agreed upon the prices and provided initial approval samples, where in which, we finalized an initial order in March 2014. Upon receipt of the initial deposit, we purchased the fabrics, raw materials, etcbased on the order quantities. In addition, we provided 4-rounds of pre-production samples for the puppy prototype per their feedback, but never received confirmation to proceed to mass production, which cost us substantial time and money. There were significant costs associated with multiple prototypes, courier charges (via air freight), and loss of potential production for other customers
We spent a total of U$ 16,for purchasing of fabrics and raw materials associated with this particular order. Considering we received U$ 12,as an initial deposit, we are owed U$ 4,to recover our expenses, not to mention additional costs as noted in the aforementioned.

Review: We hired [redacted] with Bestia Inc. to create protos for manufacturing. He approached us and communicated his company's expertise and timeliness in creating plush prototypes. We met him in Jan. 2014, and handed him a few of our product samples. He said it should take about 7-10 days to create. We received only our small puppy prototype, which needed several revisions. We still had not received our larger prototypes-- which would eventually take almost 3 months to get one of them, and it was not even close to what was promised. He sent puppy samples but they all needed to be fixed. He assured us it was due to fabric changes that were needed, and it could be easily fixed with the correct fabric. He said we needed to place an order for the fabric, and lead times were long, so in order to meet our deadline, we had to place a fabric order and they'd complete the revision changes to our satisfaction. We wired him over $12,000 to his US bank. They were never able to produce a usable sample for us to move to production. He said they needed more time and we offered to send them another sample(made by a competitor). We sent the other sample and Bestia sent it back to us with Bestia tags on it, then asked us to move forward to place the order. We "marked" the competitor's sample on the inside with stitching so we knew that it wasn't Bestia's sample. They had committed fraud. They put their tags on a sample that another company made. We told them about it and they made excuses. They said the real one was coming that week. Excuses were made about shipments, customs, late changes, reasons our protos weren't arriving on time. James said the funds we paid were used to purchase fabric and they had it in house. He said the puppy was wrong because they were waiting on fabric. It didn't add up. We asked for invoices. He said he'd get them to us. We waited. He never sent invoices. We said we'd send an inspector to his factory to check the fabric to take possession. He is no longer communicating.Desired Settlement: We would like our money back. We can pay for our shipping expenses, but we'd like to recover the majority of our funds paid. We paid for a service and did not receive goods in return. We only received a fraudulent sample.
