I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Best Laminate still advertises on their website that this product is "in stock". Only after sending a complaint into the Revdex.com did they answer that they had 800 square ft. on hand. Their webpage still lists this product in stock, giving no other information. However, if you contact them they will tell you that they can only fill the order at a future date. They don't seem to get what fair advertising is about. IMHO, why not be up front and list on their website how much product is available. Perhaps when they could advertise their Revdex.com A+ rating.The motto at Best Laminate is that the customer is always wrong... Regards,
We are writing in regards to complaint ID [redacted] that was
filed against us on 11/12/This references [redacted]/ [redacted] complaint regarding stock of materialThe material of [redacted]
is stated on our website as in-stock, this would be
correct and as of right now
we have sq/ft of [redacted]
available for immediate shipping from our warehouse
Bestlaminate is a nationwide flooring distributor and we
offer over types of flooring onlineDue to a high volume sales we cannot
always guarantee high stock volume on all products we carry
Mr[redacted]/ [redacted] did not made a purchase from BestlaminateHe contacted us with a quote
request for sq/ft of [redacted]Unfortunately we were not
able to fulfill his order at this moment, since we had sq.ft of this
particular floor in stockHe was informed about all the options including
pre-order, as well as possibility to take a look at alternative productsWe have over products with prices from $0.65/sq.ft to above $4.00/sq.ft We offered additional discount if he will be willing to wait
for new stock to arrive
We also provided expected time frame for new stock to be
available for shipmentsThis particular floor is being imported in from
Switzerland, and at this moment we are unable to provide exact delivery date
Usually it takes about 4-weeks to deliver floors from Switzerland to us and
with the coming holiday season we may experience some delays beyond our
controlCustomer was informed that we have 14,000sq,ft of this flooring coming
in the 1st week of December
We handled this product request as best as we could since we
do not have control over transit time for imported materialsWe provided all
information regarding stock status accurately, and provided a time frame to the
best of our abilityThere was no "bait and switch", but instead we provided best
alternatives available including: pre order option, alternative products and
additional discount
We update online stock status hourly and all products with a
quantity below sq.ft are considered as "low stock" and this information is
displayed on our website (see attachment)
Professional and friendly communication was kept with this
customer in order to try and find the best solution for both his time and
