Upon signing a contract with this company and after paying off the merchandise, they often exaggerate the payments and extend your contract. I signed a contract to pay off A bedroom set with best way after I made the payment that I agreed upon they called me and harrassed me saying there were more payments and that it was more expensive than what they told me at first. I argued it and eventually they agreed with me and told me I finish off that contract. so I decided to try again and get a TV from them. They told me four payments of $102.00. I made those payments and then thy began tocall and harass me telling me that I hadn't paid that off, and that I had a total of Twelve payments to complete. They at first told me the merchandise was $400 and some odd dollars. Now they are saying the merchandise is $600+ and that doesn't even add up to the number of payments they said I had to pay. I had someone with me when I signed the contract and they heard the same thing I did. when I signed the contract it said specifically four payment of $100 now they're telling me that what I signed did not say that. I believe they change paperwork. I am NOT the only one they have done this to. I know of two other customers that said they have paid off merchandise many times over. I do not believe I would have signed a contract that was clearly opposite than what was told me. Desired SettlementI just don't want to do business with them. I want them investigated and I believe that the management is purposely telling customers one thing and changing documents and then playing on the intelligence of there customers to try to get them to pay extra on merchandise even charging them extra to line there own pockets. I wouldn't be suprised if there was fraud going on in that company. They are obviously changing paperwork in order to work extra money from there customers. When I told them to send me the copies of my contract that they said I signed, first of all they didn't. I told them to send it to the creditors because they had tried this in me before and I know what I was told. They kept harassing me and then told me that they could press criminal charges against me. I want them investigated and I want some one to look into there lending practices, there procedures with charges and how each employee has the descetion to offer one merchandise contract and another employee has the ability to change those contractual guidelines. Because the guy who I signed the contract with , nobody seems to know who that employee was, the guidelines of the contract have changed and some body who works for that company keeps calling me, threatening jail and asking me who I signed the contract with. I am consulting my lawyer on this matter but if I have to give back the merchandise after having paid almost $500 on this television, I want to be compensated.

Employees at the Best Way Rent to Own are harassing family members and myself by phone calls and text messages through immediate family members.The sale of two mattresses, box springs, and bedding frames by myself (Cust ID [redacted]), pertaining to agreement #[redacted] taken place in-store on the 2nd of October of 2015 has resulted in current harassment actions by the store location's employees at Best Way Store #100. The first payment on the beds was a total of $260; the second payment of 58.00; and the third payment made equaling 135.00. Issues of very poor tactics started throughout the first weeks of the new year of 2016. The store location's manager has reached out to family members in my family that were not listed as references on my initial agreement. From there, close relatives have received, in one manner, a threatening text message that I was made then aware of soon after by e-mail. My sister received the message first-hand by my dad that was not listed as a reference for personal reasons. The text message was sent to a sister or mine that was not on the reference chart to be contacted, but was alarmed by a text message stating, "Hey what's you're brother number my sister is looking too talk wit him I need it if u don't wanna give it too don't care tired of all dis [redacted] wit ya'll Tell you're brother he needs too call best way today speak wit my sister bout his account" The sales rep is a family member, my aunt, that I barely know but has caused a lot of ruckus towards my family.Desired SettlementI am seeking to have a reimbursement of the total amount between three payments made. I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service that I've experienced.
