We hired Better Movers to help us move from [redacted] to [redacted], with a part drop off in the [redacted] area. The three people, including the owner - [redacted], proved to be very efficient operators. My wife and I were impressed by the care they too in moving our stuff from our house in [redacted] and placing it in our apartment in [redacted]. Besides, we found them to be courteous.

We hired their truck and three men on hourly basis. They wasted no time at all. We were so pleased with their work that we gave them a hefty tip before they left. We shall have no hesitation in using them again or recommending to our others..

By the way, they were recommended to us by our real estate agent who had sold our house.

Their first response on March 16/16 quoted 2 movers+truck at $110/hr with a minimum 3.5 hours for the big move, and noted that they often do staging at an hourly rate or a flat rate. Upon further correspondence, they noted that staging has a 2.5 hour minimum rate or flat rate depending on the list of all items to be moved. I asked for clarification on the 2.5 minimum hours for staging, and received this response: "For the staging we usually have a 3.5 hour minimum but we were giving you a winter discount as for the last week of June we have 5 hour minimums and the rate varies from $140hr hr to $155 hr.[Mar 25/16]"
