of actio n. When the customer failed to follow through with her end of the agreement, I had the unfortunate task of dealing with the
matter. Which involved contacting the customer and politely advising that we were cancelling the appts for the out of town guests, due to lack of time to properly address art work. I will not rush
you through a tattoo, never works out well. I then told her all of the deposits would be credited towards her multi session tattoo.To which she promptly responded" that don't make me [redacted] ing happy".I immediately apologized for any inconvenience to her and her family, and informed her once again that I would still honor her deposits if she changed her mind.The rest is internet
history. She immediately began slandering me
online. I never confiscated her deposits, even after she no showed for her first appt .I run a respectable business that treats everyone with the respect and dignity they deserve . I am rejecting this response because:As someone who has multiple tattoos and has dealt with the tattoo industry before I am aware that tattoo artist do not wish to rush through a tattoo. I understand that sometimes things change and that it is possible for things to come up. However, as far as deadlines being met, I was told upon discussing with him that I could email him with any information and what not. When family from Seattle were making changes to the tattoo I emailed him to ask him questions. I received no response until a phone call 5 days later. The idea that I was the only one not holding up on the communication end of the tattoos is not accurate. In regards to him stating that I said "that don't make me [redacted]ing happy, I am not one to respond that way. Even upset, I have some idea of how to speak like a human being and english is my strong suit. As I do understand that he offered for the money to go towards my multi session tattoo I have some issues with that. First, when I met with him on the idea of the tattoo he gave me several round-a-bout ideas on how to get out of script even though that was what I was asking for. When I decided I wanted script he wasn't thrilled. Secondly, when getting a tattoo the absolute last thing you want is to go to a tattoo artist that is upset with you or that you have animosity with. Going to a tattoo artist who has an issue with you or that you have made angry is like saying that even though he can't stand you please let him shove needles into your body to make art and pray you don't get something completely screwed up. As I do appreciate his offer there is absolutely no way that I would allow a tattoo artist with issues with me tattoo myself. The simple fact is that even though his work is amazing and I am sure he was a very stand up guy, I believe that the reasoning behind his canceling of the appoint was asinine.
