Dry Clean Club

Review: Four shirts which were dry cleaned were returned damaged with small holes. All the holes were similar in size, location, and indentations. It appears something in the process or equipment damaged all four shirts. The businesses approach was to "clean them again", which reduces the appearance of the holes since they have been starched and ironed heavily, but the small holes are still there. Multiple messages left for the manager/owner ([redacted]) were not returned.Desired Settlement: Pay for the four shirts.

Review: I brought my shirt in to be dry cleaned. When I received it back it had small circles where the fabric was disintegrated. They refused to take responsibility and refuse to provide me any kind of settlement.Desired Settlement: I would like some type of payment for the loss of my shirt.

Review: We regularly used Dryclean Club, a Bethesda discount dry cleaner (on average 5-10 items per month) and accepted that for the price we will not receive great quality. On many occasions we took the item of clothing back for Drycleaner Club to re-do. However recently they stained several of our clothing items including an expensive designer dress that had been given for alteration and not for dry cleaning. The owner left his phone number and told his employee to tell me that he would cover the cost of the damage to the dress. When I called not only was the owner not willing to acknowledge his employees' mistakes (saying that they test bleeding of fabrics and that it was a defect with the dress ie manufacturer's responsibility) but he was rude and was more concerned with having to submit his mistake to his insurance company. The stain was the same color and pattern as several other ones that we have recently seen on our clothing which leads me to believe Dryclean Club has old or defective equipment that create these stains. I have no interest in getting the money but rather having the stained that they had created removed (which the owner acknowledged but faulted the dress rather than the employee who was not even authorized to dry clean the dress that had been given for alteration). They had previously dry cleaned this same dress without any stains. They said they are willing to dryclean the stain they created but at my risk. It is unacceptable that I should be responsible for a stain/damage they made to a very expensive dress that was merely given to them for an alteration.Desired Settlement: They need to have the stains removed, which will involve giving it to a more experienced advanced dry cleaner.

Review: On Tuesday March 19th, 2013 I brought 5 items to be cleaned at DryClean Club. I make it a habit to check my items at the counter with the intake person present. In particular a blue green blouse we both did a double check. because the fabric is draped. On Thursday March 21st I came in to pick up my items. The first thing that caught my eye on my blouse was food crusted on the back shoulder, Radar up, I pull the blouse from the bag and it has red dots all over it and holes on the bottom portion. FYI this is a new blouse as in worn it for a few hours and put in my laundry bag for dry cleaning.

The girl at the counter said they could redo it for the dots AND insisted on focusing on the dots, instead of the HOLES.I told her the dots were irrelevant if it had HOLES. She told me "I did not care talk to my boss" I told her to have him call me. No call yet that is why I am filing this complaint. This is the same employee why I stopped using this dry cleaner the first time.

I have taken the blouse to [redacted] Fabrics and they seem to think it is chemical burns. I spoke to the Drycleaning and Laundry Institute and they are willing to test the blouse if the complaint is filed via the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I am more than willing to have the blouse tested to determine the proper outcome. Is it the cleaners fault or faulty fabric. But one thing I do know it did NOT HAVE HOLES when I brought it in to DRYCLEAN CLUB. This is not a $20 blouse replacement is $100. at Nordstrom which is where I bought it.
