Hello,Communication from [redacted] was received by email on Feb 2017 with no medical note. The cancellation would be going forward from notification. He signed up with a Mila S[redacted] and he sent email in Feb requesting to cancel his portion of membership. And it's his card on file for her membership....

It seems like it is a personal dispute with him and her. Since he emailed in Feb we can cancel his portion of membership without a fee or note for March and refund his portion of $40. We can also remove payment and his partner/friend would be responsible for remaining contract. Please see attached email from [redacted] and we have calls he made documented as well. We are also happy to send agreement. Do not hesitate to contact me.

Review: Sport and Health Club had a 7-day trial promotion for the month of May. If within that 7-day period, a person who chooses not to follow through with membership, the initiation fee of $39.00 will be reimbursed. I made a cancelation within that timeline and the club did not refund my initiation fee. On top of that, I was charged $79.99 for June as a monthly due!I e-mailed the corporate office expressing my concerns. I was informed that I do not qualify for reimbursement because I did not cancel my memebership within 3 days. I told corporate that the Club representative advertised a promotion of a 7-day trail with refund within that timeline. Corporate then replied and said they do not offer that promotion.Sport and Health Club in [redacted] was dishonest with me by marketing the wrong information.Desired Settlement: Refund of $118.99 from initiation fee and monthly due.

We do not have a 7 day trial program. We have two money back options. One is a 3 day law in [redacted] County to change your mind, which is signed by the member. We also have a 14 day comfort guarantee where someone can try the club out for 14 days but must visit 6 times in the first 14 days, complete free smart start, and submit cancellation within 30 days. She did not work out 6 times in the first 14 days. I have tried to attach the usage as well. There is a portion of the agreement that she initialed acknowledging the guarantee qualification.

She was on a month to month agreement and has been canceled prior to any further billing based on her termination notice.
