No reason to write a long story here ... Subaru Legacy purchased - good guys, try to work with you. The vehicle was in great shape for its miles and age. Everything went pretty smooth and the process was easy to get through.

Review: I put a down payment on a car which I asked to take it to my mechanic to look it over before I paid for it.It was taken to my mechanic and they said there was some problems with it and I decided not to take the car.I also had them put on the contract that my deposit was refundable to the mechanic approval.the seller wanted a list of what was wrong with the car and it was given to them. I did not hear from them and I called but could not reach them.I went over and the salesman gave me [redacted] the owner which he said their list had a lot of question behind the problems. He said the mechanic did not inspect it right. He also claimed that he took it back to where that was inspected and their were no problems with it.one of the problems was a broken motor mount which wasn't, seen and he said they could fix that. Why was that missed. The car had to be jumped to test drive and he said they cleaned the battery contacts. When it went to my mechanic the computer was all cleared so that could not be tested. He became very nasty with me when I said I wanted my money.he laughed at me told me that the note on the contract meant only his inspection and I schould get out he would call the police.Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit back that all. I am buying a car and I do not have money for big repair bill and car payments.

Review: On 12/14/13 I purchased a 2002 [redacted]. The purchase price of this vehicle was $5,500.00 after being negotiated down from the original asking price of $6,495.00. The vehicle was listed in good running condition and the salesman assured my husband that the vehicle had been inspected and that there were no leaks The vehicle was purchased with a Warranty of 6 months 7,500 miles from a third party provider called [redacted]. I recently brought the vehicle in to my local dealership and mentioned to them that I could smell an oil odor that I would l would like to have checked. They did a multi-point inspection on the vehicle in addition to the regularly scheduled maintenance. Their findings were that there were several leaks in the vehicle causing the smell. Some of the findings were as follows: the cam adjuster gaskets were leaking oil, the valve cover gaskets were leaking, the evaporator core was leaking, the rear right alloy wheel had a crack in it and needed replacement. The strut mounts were worn, the inner boot torn, the lower control arms were loose and touching sub frame. These problems along with some other minor repairs amounted to $4,000.00 in repairs on a $5,500.00 vehicle that was supposed to be "in good condition". The dealership asked for a list of repairs and after a couple of attempts to reach out to them they responded that whatever the warranty covered is all they could authorize. Which by the way, when we contacted the warranty company about the repairs they said only one of the leaks was partially covered to fix. They agreed to pay $400.00 of the $4,000.00 in repairs with after market parts. The vehicle is not even worth the cost of the repairs plus the balance of the loan yet I have no choice but to move forward with them. I am now in debit and my daughter's lifetime savings has essentially been taken. The dealership indicated that they inspect the vehicles to which I responded that either this vehicle was not inspected or that they knew about the problems and intentionally withheld them in order to make the sale which would be worse. If they were forthcoming with the problems associated with the vehicle we would have never purchased the vehicle.Desired Settlement: Because we couldn't possibly sell the vehicle, revealing all the problems for what is owed on the vehicle, and could not live with ourselves if we were to withhold this crucial information, we will have to have the vehicle fixed. We do take some responsibility for the fact that we should not have trusted the salesman and should have had the car independently inspected prior to purchasing the vehicle. It is for these reasons that I would like for the dealership to pay 1/2 of the cost of the repairs that are not covered by the warranty. At the very least I want to warn all consumers that this is not an honest dealership and they should not be trusted. They do not stand behind their vehicles and are just out to make a buck.

Review: I purchased a 2000 [redacted] on April 12, 2014 from Bethlehem Auto Sales. [redacted], General Manager, was the salesman. I paid cash for the vehicle. I was told I would receive the title to vehicle within two weeks. I was given a temporary license plate for the vehicle which expires on April 9th- in two days from now. My husband called **. [redacted] to inquire about the title on Tuesday, April 29th at 9:52 am and was told by **. [redacted] that the tile had been mailed. I still had not received the tile by May 3rd so my husband again called **. [redacted] to inquire. **. [redacted] returned his phone and told my husband that he (**. [redacted]) had been misinformed and that the title had NOT been sent yet but was "on the bottom of the barrel" and was was mailed out on Friday, May 2nd and that he guaranteed that I would have it in my possession by Monday, May 5th. Today is Wednesday, May 7th and I have yet to receive the title.

My husband called **. [redacted] today at 4:24 pm. **. [redacted] said that "there is nothing they can do." When my husband expressed his displeasure at the situation and asked about getting another temporary license plate, **. [redacted] said it would be impossible to get another tag.My husband wanted to know what he should do if the title is not received by May 9th. **. [redacted] had no information to offer. He never apologized, offered any assistance or made any attempt to rectify the situation. My husband grew agitated and **. [redacted] hung up the phone.

I called **. [redacted] back and another sales associate answered the phone. I was told **. [redacted] was helping another customer but he could help me. I calmly inquired about the situation and asked why I was misled by this company. I asked as to why I was promised the title in 2 weeks from purchase and was lied to. He confirmed my correct address as the address that the title was mailed to. When I attempted to ask again what should be done about the situation, the man on the phone yelled at me and told me he could not control the U.S. postal service. I continued to speak as calm as I could and asked him if this is the way they treated their customers? He said and I quote, "You want a piece of my [redacted] and I understand that, but I can't help you!" This profanity was repeated 3 times and the man hung up the phone on me. I called again and I again stated that I just wanted some answers and told the man that he should be apologizing to me, the customer, or at least attempt to help me remedy the situation. When I asked again if this was a standard business practice to yell at customers and use profanity, he denied that he did. He was rude, arrogant and accused me of disrespecting him. I just want the title to the vehicle and an apology.Desired Settlement: I want and need the title of the vehicle I purchased so that I can register it and not get a ticket.

+1

Review: I bought a 2004 ford escape from them . they advertised on web site it had a little bit of warranty on it so like a dummy I assumed they back their car up with that and I didn't think at the time about paper work on warranty or think to ask about it . I put about 300 miles on it and transmission went out so I pretty much drove it home it about 140 miles on it to get home . I pick it up on 10/10/13 and transmission went out on 10/12/13 . I call them 3 times and every time the salesman said his boss will get back to me in morning but has yet to call me back to offer to do any thing . so its in shop now for transmission witch is costing me about $3400Desired Settlement: pay for repair
