Betten Baker Chevrolet Buick Pontiac Reviews (4)

Betten Baker provided poor quality of work that most likely was the cause of my engine to seizing On May 16th my vehicle was overheating, we had it checked in with the service department in CoopersvilleOver the next weeks I received communications that started with "We don't see anything wrong with your vehicle and we're not sure why it's overheating The technician is going to start with a coolant flush and go from there" The next call I received at a later date was "You have an issue with the water pump so it needs to be replacedUnfortunately it's a big job because we have to drop the engine to repair it" I authorized the repair and then multiple days later I was informed that "I have bad news your car is leaking oil and the oil pan needs replacedIt's a pretty labor intensive job" He quoted me the price and I reached out to my cousin, service manager in Wyandotte, MI, for advice I then returned the call to my service adviser and informed him that I didn't feel

Betten Baker sold me an unsafe vehicle and have offered little to no help to make it right. Now, repair bills are adding up at my expense. On Oct 12th 2017 I purchased a 2011 Jeep Wrangler from Betten Baker. Prior to my purchase I spoke with the sales manager [redacted] who assured me the vehicle passed inspections with "flying colors" and that it was a great buy. I made the call before showing up because they are 2 hours from me and I wanted to be sure the the vehicle was worth the drive. I paid $22,xxx for this vehicle. 5 days into owning it I began to have issues. The Jeep started to shake and wobble when driving at speeds around 45 mph. I immediately called the salesman, [redacted] , who stated he was with a customer and would call me right back. I never received a phone call but a text message instead. I asked to see this "inspection" that the vehicle had supposedly passed. Nothing on the inspection had to do with the inspection. He offered to "help" with costs if they had the vehicle. I
