The response from Better Built Garages is not quite accurate.For example, two building permits were applied for by Better Built GaragesBecause I decided to make minor changes to the dimensions of the new garage,the company applied for a second permit on May 23, if I recall accurately, which was the proper action to takeHowever,I spoke to the Worth Township building inspector and according to him and if I understood him correctly, the old garage could have been demolished under the first building permit since the adjustments were so smallI understand delays came about because of the survey of my property, the application of two building permits and discussions between Better Built Garages and myself regarding tentative changes to the new garage .I realize no construction is permitted without a survey and a building permit together, but to have absolutely no work at all done after one month toward demolition or construction, is that a reasonable time span for garage construction? Please trust me when I say DON'T do buisness with this so called joke of a buisnessI was told three to four weeks installTen weeks later I still had no buildingI called numerous times speaking with Mellisa, Tina and finally got thru to Amy who struggled but got my money back which was like pulling teethThey lied, over and over to me and hung up and NEVER returned my voice-mailWorst experience to say the least! Absolutely a clown outfit!

Very Happy After just one meeting with Todd Leger I knew Better Built was the right choice to build my custom garage. Not only did Todd explain every step of the build, he made sure the job was done to my complete satisfaction. Better Built exceeded my expectations! Job well done!

After paying for a new garage early 2015, we have not received quality customer serviceMost recently we experienced faulty equipment within out garage that caused the top panels to bendThey refuse to accept responsibility for inferior equipment or laborInstead they want to blame us for an alleged obstruction that caused the garage door to malfunctioni explained that I witnessed the garage door malfunctioning and no obstruction existedThey called me a liar and refused to fix it unless we pay them $400+ dollarsThere work and customer service is horribleI would never recommend them to any person on the planet

Better built garages did a wonderful job for meI talked with all workmen and was very happy with the interaction I had regarding every aspect of the constructionBert the salesman was very helpful with getting the project pulled together and followed up with me during and after the garage was built I would recommend this company to everyoneThanks for a great job

I just had a new garage built by Better BuiltManager/Owner Nancy couldn't have been more helpful since we needed some hand-holdingWe are so happy with the way they run their businessWe were very pleased with the purchasing process because of their attention to detailThe quality and variety of building materials to choose from was top notchThe workers were on time, courteous, and real craftsmen! They also cleaned up after themselvesMy neighbors couldn't believe how fast the garage went up! Our carpenter friend was very impressed with the work
I have to mention our salesman Todd He always called us and kept us informed on how things were going and never flinched when we made last-minute changes (Several last minute changes!)
The Tinley Park building inspector said that Better Built makes his job easier for him
Please consider Better Built if you need a new garage You won't have to worry about a thing, they take care of everything!

I am rejecting this response because: betterbuilt does not accept responsibility for the people they contract to do...

the work which represents their company.. They have not attempted to address the other issues besides landscaping issues. At the time the work was done it was still under warranty. Yes the work done the 2nd time was at my request, because an entire garage line shouldn't be ran underneath and connected to a wooden deck and not connected directly into the house to the circuit breaker. Both betterbuilt and the contractor are taking an oh well attitude about the entire incident and are finding ways to make it my responsibility. Not once did betterbuilt apologize for the unneceesary excessive damages which occurred and the pictures I sent them which clearly supports my complaint.

[redacted] said he is not paying a penny over the contract.why should we have to pay when the salesman already measured the yard.it is all a lie! the salesman underbid for a three car garage with a patio.those garages go for 16,000 and up!she,at front desk told mr. Paragraph # 1 clearly states that the buyer is responsible for providing a survey. We had asked customer to make a check out made payable to the survey company not us. We have sent customer their deposit back.There is no front desk here as we previously stated nor were we trying to "get more money".This is standard procedure and all my customers just pull their surveys out of their house papers. Never a problem!

Busbys t.v.in pascagoola ms. Took our t.v. large screen to repair an has had it 6 months. Has not returner it.. gives us the run around.

Tell us the custwhy here...  the customer called busbys after the repair was done and reported that it was doing the same thing we returned to the home and the same part was blown again . the part that keeps blowing is because of air flow and on further investigation we discovered that there...

was a large beem directly in the air flow which would cause the part to keep failing we told the customer that we could not keep returning with that problem causing the failure when we left both times the dryer was working properly and we advised the customer not to use the dryer until they corrected the problem. As a curtesy we will refund the customer the labor charge but not the dignostic fee or the trip charge
