I ordered the small bottle of *** as what I thought was a one-time order; at no time on the screens I saw was there a notice of later automatic re-ordersWhen (a month later) the huge charge went through on my account, I went back to my browser history to look at the webpages involved in ordering, and took snapshotsWhere you enter your card information, a full browser window is taken up by elements formatted to look like one complete screenbut in fact, it turns out on second look, BELOW that, there is another section with some fine print in pale gray text on white, easy to miss, and not especially easy for old eyes to read, with the auto-renewal notice(The added $shipping insurance charge is also on that lower section, so I had not known I would be paying it.) The fine print does say "You can cancel your membership anytime by [among other means] following the link in our confirmation email allowing you to easily cancel online." I still have that email, too; there is NO such link, and there was NO mention of auto-renewal (or how to cancel it) in ANY email from that companySo, yes, this was a scam, because they chose (1) to make the warning both out-of-the-way AND then nearly invisible, and (2) not to deliver the promised method of cancellationBut after calling to cancel, refusing a 50% refund offer and advising the company I was disputing the charge with my bank, I now have a 100% refund
