I was called to the property to repair a broken toilet, I replaced it with a new one as seen in the picture, the new toilet had a manufacturer warranty if there was a problem the manufacturer would handle that, when I was leaving they asked me to look at a tub that would not drain at which point I informed them that would be a different job entirely and I would return to do it, I came back a week later, checked the toilet and there were no leaks I then proceeded to remove the water heater at which point I noticed a broken shutoff, I replaced that for free and continued to cut a single whole as seen in the picture, I removed the trap and snaked the drain but my snake was not adequate for the job and the drain remained clogged, I rebuilt the trap and reinstalled the water heater, I saw no drip pan, I explained that I did the best I could with my limited tools I am afterall a handyman not a plumber and I billed her for labor, offering to fix the drywall for free she told me by email no because there was more to be done there, she has never paid for the return trip so I can not guarantee or reimburse since failure to pay is a breach of contract, I have made many attempts to collect but with late fees she may never pay, I have been in constant contact and they did not mention a leak just a sewer smell that was caused by having the pipes open for so long, I liked [redacted] and had she paid her invoice I would have come completely out of pocket for the repairs, secondly upon trying to report her non payment I can find no legal registration of her company in west virginia, is haven properties a real company?
