I am the Production Manager for WWCCCAI spoke to MrsTorres my self responding to the only call I ever received from herI told her I had received another call from someone else with the same address but she wasn't aware of who it was.I had never received any calls from her so her stating it took months is not true She states she spoke with Donna. There is no Donna at our company; never has been. The WW Warranty covers glass failure but does not cover glass breakage when caused by the customer. This is written on her contract She did not pay extra for the warranty The warranty is standard on ALL contracts.I personally told her that I would order her the replacement IG and take care of the issue. It was certainly not necessary for her to file this complaint or any complaint Respectfully, N***/PM

The balance is owed and is expected to be paid, as was paid before stop payment was made due to job debris placed in customers recycling. The Certificate of Completion was signed with notation for flawed class possibly needing replaced, and the balance was paid at that timeThe glass to be changed out was ordered immediatelyThe customer then stoped payment on the check, stating the installer placed debris in customers recyclingThe trash was removed the very next day of job completion.Regarding glass change out: Of course it is the customers choice to decide not to have the glass changed out, that they had originally requested to be changed outThis was the customers request to do so, stating it had flaws and/or wanting plain glass, not the energy efficiency coating glass that is standard government building energy efficiency code. The customers request for changing out the glass was accepted by the company with out the company doing a site inspection to verify to see that in fact does have flaws, the company took the customers word for itAgain, of course, it is the customers choice to do whatever they feel they would like to do with the windows the customer purchased The company will continue to collect the balance owed

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:I understand that all doors would have a safe guard in place to allow water to escape however our issue is not that a little bit of water is captured but a lot of water is coming inside the track and into the house. If this was truly a performing door then why did the installer come out different times in attempt to resolve the issue and ultimately involved the owner?I also disagree on the subtright comment regarding the living room slider Over the last couple of months, I've been putting a tarp against the slider The outside wall is still exposed to the rain while the tarp is preventing the water from hitting the sliderThere are no other water leakage, only when water is hitting door.I still believe either the sliders or the installation is faulty/incorrect As stated in my previous submission to the Revdex.com, I am purchasing sliders from another vendor I would like to return the sliders for a refund once the sliders are extracted

Yes, have called month after month to schedule the change out of the factory faulty glass and the glass the customer is requesting to be clear, that is class without the energy efficiently coastingNote: Energy efficiency glass is a building code requirement, therfore automatic for the manufacturer
of all residential windows. After months and months of calls to the customer and not recieveing any returning calls, in order to change out the glass they had requested, management went to the home in order to find out about getting the requested glass scheduled to be changed out, not to collect the balance still owed right then, but of course once completed, to collect the balance of $that is still owed. Our State Contractor LicInstaller's, will sometimes, preform building work on their own with a customerThe install/installer discrepancies were settled with all understanding at the time of the installation and/or at the time before completion of the jobTherfore, when completed, the customer signed the completion certificate, and stated; "installer was courteous and cooperative in his workmanship", and noting on the Completion Certificate faulty glass needing to be changed outAt this time/at job completion, customer paid the balance due in a check.Customers comments now, concerning the installer, are not concurrent with what happened and/or with the signed completion certificate, or why we would not have the same installer return to change out the faulty glassWe have had this installer for many years, and Know him to be most courteous and careful with allHe is a Atascadero native resident, a good father, and well known and liked in the communityThe description of him here is not the person the customer is describingVery unfortunate to say the least Customer gave the balance in a check for the $to the installerCustomer then canceled the check for the $stating reason for; job debris put in their recycle bin, a innocent mistake performed by the installers apprentice, whom all contractors will normally haveThe installer returned the next day to remove the trash and haul it awayThe faulty glass to be change out was ordered immediately, without any site inspection and/or determination on our part, trusting the customer was corrcect in there truly being faulty glass. Customer singed completion certificate, paid the balance, stoped payment on the balance paid because of trash put in recycling, then would never return calls to schedule glass change outThus not paying the balance owed. The glass was ordered immediately upon receiving customers statement reguarding it on the signed Completion Certificate.Ignoring calls to change out the glass, or choosing not to have the glass changed out does not mean the balance is not owed. Will make further contact by mail

Installation and performance of doors were tested, including cleaning of debris in the main frame/track where the slider operates. The design of ALL sliding doors/AND windows are designed to catch water, from outside surface of glass, in the track were the sliding glass/frame separates the main...

frame/track from the exterior to the interior. The tracks of ALL sliding doors (any manufacture) are designed to catch water, then drain to the exterior. The weather performance of the doors were tested, and doors were performing as designed. If need be, the company will perform tests again, with BOTH homeowners present. Living room door is below the height of outside substright. Exterior substright above height of door may be causing/allowing water build up and seepage under door. This would be a exterior substright issue, not a product or installation issue.

Concerns addressed. Was determined no interior caulking was used on the exterior. Only exterior caulking was used originally. All windows are sealed/caulked to the exterior, by way of applying a heavy bead of clear silicone caulking to the exterior surface before the new window is set against the...

exterior. Then additionally, brown caulking, for brown windows, is applied around the  outside edge of the window. Installer returned to apply brown caulking to one of the windows outer edge.

If manufacture determines door(s) are faulty, door(s) will be replaced at no charge.
