I own a CHChipper Shredder (horsepower) & am very satisfied with this product I have used it for over years now & have shredded many, many limbs with no problems & it doesn't stop unless it runs out of gas I had a different brand previously & had to constantly unclog it &/or repair it I think this machine would shred cross ties if they would fit through the chute It's called 'The Beast' which is very appropriate for this machine - you can't stop it!! I would recommend this to anyone who needs a chipper/shredder
