Both of the customer's laptops have been sitting in our shop fixed for over a YEAR! We have physically stopped by customer's house and left cards with gentleman of the house asking her to call usWe have called and left MULTIPLE messages
asking for return callOur last phone call we left message with her daughter explaining if she did not call us we would submit this to a collections attorneyNow the customer complains here that we did not contact her
Customer owes us $for completion of both machines#Gateway machine was $(customer thought it was the battery, it was notIt was malware / virusesWe completed a system restore at customer request) and now it is running as intended#Asus (that had multiple broken parts due to hinge breaking off which broke top cover, lcd screen, front bevel, hinge, and bottom tray)
Spoke to customer in beginning explaining parts would be $300-$for this machineDuring this time of finding parts we contacted the Vendor about replacement parts because customers warranty was expiredAt one time the company agreed to pay for part of the parts costWe then spoke to the customer about this times and never received a confirmation on how to proceedAnother few times we spoke with the customer and even offered to buy her laptop from her (we would break it down and sell the parts, use that money to buy a new one) and replace it with a Brand New Laptop (as the parts were then hard to find) again we never heard back from the customer about thisSpoke to her and her daughter bothAfter all this time past we did get a hold of the customer finally and fixing it was ok'd (have the recording)We ordered parts, fixed it and contacted customer letting her know they were fixed and ready to be dropped off and paid for
Once againwe left multiple messages and stopped by in person with no return contactWe have EVERY single call recorded and time stamped from 7-08-thru 8-26-(last time we tried to contact her, spoke with her daughter)
As for multiple people here same name, it is a matter of public record there are, and they are owners of the company (Jr, Sr, III etc) customer can verify on their own time
We DID take the parts to china with us when we went to Guangzhou for the international electronics fair
*** (both times in April and October), have proof of travel docs, visa stamps, etc
Even have the actual baggage tracking numbers still on the box we took it in
Customer AMEX extended warranty, Yes this was mentioned, and this is when we told the customer it
would be approx$300-$for the repairsWe asked if they wanted it repaired, she said she would
get back to us after speaking with amex warrantyWe then called again to checkup on this matter, the
customer then asked us to commit fraud by putting on our company letterhead that the laptop was not
repairable so she could submit it for money, and we would not do this as the item was repairableA few
days later we spoke with customer's brother (it was his credit card used to purchase item) and that is when the repairs were Ok'd
The items were ordered, the laptops repaired, multiple attempts to collect were madeNow this is where we are at
As for the name calling publicly, this is slander and defamationThis is uncalled for, and no person anywhere should have to deal with such antics by anyone
To sum it up, we fixed the machinesCustomer never returned any of our calls after agreement to fix
They owe money for the repairsCustomer should pay for completed workBoth machines were fully operational upon completion of our workCustomer should also pay for any late fees
Customer should review legal document signedIt clearly states any equipment left with us and is not paid for in full becomes our property to recoup our losses
