Better Priced Used Cars

Review: On March 8, 2015, [redacted], entered into an oral agreement with, Better Priced Used Cars. The terms of the agreement are as follows: I bought a 2000 Nissan Xterra from Better Priced Used Cars for $4200, on March 9th 2015. I was told if any problems within 45 days bring it back. On April 2nd, with less than 325 miles since purchase,the vehicle started to blow smoke out the tail pipe and the engine temperature gauge climb to hot. I shut the car off and called my grandfather for advice. He looked at the vehicle and he determined it had a blown head or head gasket. He looked and saw that the radiator was replaced indicating that there was a prior problem with the cooling system, and it was probably doctored for the sale. He said from the amount of smoke it was proof there was a cooling problem before. I notified the Dealer at Better Priced Used Cars, and all he had to say is, I do not know what to tell you, check with the finance company, you should have a warranty through them, not me. I met all requirements of the agreement on March 9, 2015. Better Priced Used Cars, has failed to meet the verbal, requirements of the agreementPrior to filing this complaint for the balance owed of $4,200.00, I have attempted to collect the balance owed by doing the following: Notified Better Priced Used Cars of the problem on April 3rd, by phone. Was told it was not their problem. I made calls to the finance company, the insurance company and numerous calls to Better Priced Used Cars.In addition to the balance owed, I also seeking cost of tags, registration cost and finance charges.I do not think it was in good faith for the car dealer to sell a defective or doctored car. The car was sold for $4200, not some junk car cost like maybe $500. I am young and not experienced in car buying and I think the dealer deceived me to unload a junk car to a young buyer with no experience, then he went back on his word saying I never told you it had a warrenty.Desired Settlement: Either replace the car or refund my money.

Review: 21 Sept 2015I purchased an RV on E-bay on Aug 24, 2015 for $1,600.00 and paid $250.00 with Paypal for dealer fees and gave the dealer Mr. [redacted] made out to Better Priced Used Cars for $1,550.00 from Bank of America dated 8/27/15 at 11:06:37 number which I have a copy of. His ad on E-bay was fraud because it stated Southwind Class A 33ft M Motorhome Runs Great Needs Lots Cosmetics No Reserve. I drove to York, PA to pick up the 1884 RV in a locked parking lot. Mr. [redacted] met me and my son and went into the lot. The RV was jumped and started. I asked Mr. [redacted] stay inside so I could check all the lights and he stepped on the brakes and turn signals. Mr. [redacted] did not tell me that the brake went to the floor and when I went to drive it and tried to stop the brake went to the floor. I got out of the RV before leaving the lot and informed him. Mr. [redacted] got into the RV and drove it off the lot to a dirt area business where the front right wheel locked up. He walked across the street to the lot and offered me a refund. I told him let me think about this and would get back to him tonight which my son heard too. When I arrived home I texted and e-mailed Mr. [redacted] that I did not trust the RV and requested my money back. After a few weeks with no replies I contacted E-bay and on 21 Sept 2015 agreed on refunding my money for the amount of $250.00 which I paid on E-bay. Mr. [redacted] has not replied to me amount funding my money of $1,550.00 and requesting your help in this matter.I have looked up this business and found the following:Mr. [redacted] phone number is [redacted] and his business is located The Used Car Lot 34702 Dupont Blvd Frankford, DE 19945 and a phone listed as 302-732-6800 and also [redacted] I found him on line by looking up Better Priced Cars and Boats and found his name [redacted] his e-mail is [redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund of $1,550.00 for the RV which I gave him a certified check since he stills has an E-bay refunded me the other $250.00 as 21 Sept 2015 and cancelled the transaction.
