Review: I purchased sofa, loveset and recliner for the price of $3000.00. The furniture is made of poor workmanship. It does not appear to be the same furniture I ordered from the showroom. The recliner is made very cheaply with plywood and is not even comfortable. I have had the busniess owner to my house and all they have done is stuffed the recliner with stuffing. I have had a furniture repair person to my home to see if they can repair the recliner (make it more sturdy and comfortable) and they have quoted me a price of over $200.00 to fix this to make it sturdy. I am so disappointed in the workmanship of this furniture. It looks like "trailer furniture" at best. I am a very dissatisfied customer and have called the company on several occasions and it just ends up in an argument. Please help.Desired Settlement: This furniture was purchased on 12/20/2014 from the showroom. The furniture had to be ordered and was delivered several weeks later as the furniture had to be manufactured. When I tried the loveseat in the showroom, I was able to easily get in and out of the loveseat as I use a walker. when the chair was delivered, it sat much lower than the chair I had tried in the showroom. Their solution was to put more stuffing in the chair. The chair is the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I have ever sat on. It looks like a recliner that may cost $299.00 at best. I think my price was over $800. This furniture was made by Best furniture company - not sure what type or reputation they have. I apreciate your help with any resolution. The owners and myself are unable to reach any type of solution. The sofa and the loveseat both look smaller than what we ordered.

Here are the facts of the situation. Mr. [redacted] bought a power reclining sofa, power console loveseat, and power wall saver recliner (non rocking) from us on 12/20/2014 for $2800 plus tax.. It was special ordered and delivered on or about January 22nd. He ordered exactly what was shown on the floor, even in the same fabric (22513 pewter) however, a special order was necessary because we did not stock the recliner. So we ordered his furniture from best chair, a 52 year old company with an impeccable reputation for building reclining furniture. Mr. [redacted] called soon thereafter to say that his reclining chair was too soft. [redacted] went to his house and added solid foam underneath the seat to assist in him getting up easier. There was nothing wrong with his furniture. He called back, [redacted] went to his house again and attempted to add more fill. Once again, there was nothing wrong with his furniture. Throughout this entire transaction, Mr . [redacted] has been rude, cursing us, telling [redacted] to get out of house, calling multiple times in a row only to hang up on us every time, Then claiming that he did not get what he ordered etc....completely obnoxious behavior. He is the interesting part, the loveseat that he sat on in the store and claimed sat so well Is the the one in his house!!!!!!!! We oversold the group and had to take the loveseat from our floor to make all the deliveries necessary. In closing, we have done nothing to Mr. [redacted] except to attempt to help him. We did exactly what we said each time even though we knew that we would be berated regardless. We have no desire to ever do any business with him and will not allow him back in our store. Jeff Rorer

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The information supplied from the merchant are untrue. When I was in the store to purchase the furniture, I was very careful to make sure the chair was the right height because of my handicap. I am handicapped on a walker and have a hard time getting up from a sitting position.When the chair arrived, if in fact it was the one in the store in which he states I sit in, that contradicts what h told us. He stated he had to order the recliner because he did not have the electronic recliner and would have to order it. Then he states in his email that he actually sentme the recliner from the store. I am really confused by his story not matching. I have been very upset about this purchase since the delivery. The recliner is very unsteady and stuffing the back and the cushion have not helped me with the height or comfort of the chair. All the information stated in the merchant rebuttal is incorrect. There was no resolution from the merchant to my knowledge in his rebuttal.How could we be satisfied when no resolution was received.

Please find attached the picture you requested of the recliner. As you can see, the yardstick measures from the floor to the seat on the recliner. It measures between 18 and 19 when we measured. Please let us know if we can supply anything else.
