Betty I believe is confused on what voicemails I left, there were appointments total as she stated, I made out of the appointments, I paid Betty cash for the copay I owed for both of those appointmentsI missed 10am appointment on 7/14/16, Betty called me from *** as she stated at 10:30am I apologized for missing and we rescheduled for 7/18/at 2pm, I showed up Monday 7/18/at 2pm and sat in the lobby for minutes, I left and went back to work, when I got to work I called her in my car in the parking lot at 2:41pm, no answer so I left a detailed message as to what happened and to please call me back at her earliest convenienceI never received a call back so not sure if her voicemail is broken or mine but I never received a phone call or voicemail after our 7/14/discussionRegardless of whether Voicemail may or might have been an issue on my end, I would have received a phone call from *** or ***, I cannot find any calls in my calls history from either of those numbers after our 7/discussion
The first bill I received was this month saying I'm months late on my payment, I called Betty and left a voicemail at 7:59pm yesterday 9/15/after receiving this bill, again I have not heard anything or received a phone call backThe bill shows No Show Charges for 7/14/and 7/25/16, it appears we didn't pick the same day for the appointment we tried to reschedule in our discussion on 7/So if Betty put down 7/for the rescheduled appointment, I wasn't there at that time and still did not receive a call from her asking why I wasn't there, which she stated she calls all her clients back if they miss an appointment, you think I would have received a call for the supposed missed appointment on 7/

Due to laws rules of HIPPA confidentiality I am limited to respond to this complaint.  The client has signed an informed consent outlining payment which includes payment for not showing up for an appointment.  He signed the intake form which states that if a client does not show up for an...

appointment without prior notice they may be billed for that time.  I charge half of that which I would charge for appointments in that case.  The hour that is not attended is not covered by insurance and I cannot schedule someone without reasonable notice.
This client had 3 appointments, he attended one.  The ones missed were on June 23/16 at 11AM.  He stated that he forgot when I called him to follow up.  We set another appointment forJuly 14/16 at 10AM.  Again he did not show up nor called to cancel.  I always call to follow up with a client who does not show up.
He did not return my voice mail message.  I do document any interaction with a client.
He could have simply called to discuss his concerns with me and there could have been resolution. Making assumptions often leads to conflict and misunderstanding.
The outstanding charge of $110.00 is accurate.

There is only one phone number for my.office. It is[redacted].   No message was left on this voice mail box.  The other phone number the client gives may be a routin number since our practice of 5 use the same land line.
spoke with client today Sept 19,2016 and agreed to write off the July 25 no show due to a difference in time scheduled.  Client will only be billed for 1 missed session for $55.00
