Review: On November [redacted], 2013, I purchased a complete living room set which includes a brown leather sofa, loveseat, and chaise. I also bought a marble top coffee table. A dining room set that I saw in the showcase was also purchased. The color of the dining room set in the showcase was NOT labeled as cherry. There was no description of the name of the color of that piece of furniture. It was lighter than cherry, probably like a maple color. If it was labeled as cherry, I would NOT have purchased it at all. If the color of the dining room set in the showcase was not available, the salesman should have notified us. However, when the furniture was delivered on November [redacted] at about 7:30 P.M, it was not the correct color that I had purchased. The color I received was cherry (this color was too dark and I never chose it.) On the same night, while the delivery men were opening up the boxes, I called back the salesman and told him that the color of the dining room set was incorrect. He insisted it was the color I chose and that I should wait until the next morning (November [redacted]) to see it better when it would be bright. I immediately stopped the delivery men from opening the remaining boxes. On November [redacted], the [redacted] of the store, [redacted], came to my house and saw the one piece of the dining room set that was open and tried to convince me that that was the right color that was ordered. I insisted that that was not the color in the store and that I did not want the dining room set anymore because of the color. I wanted it to be returned back to the store and for them to give me the correct color, which was never done. Later that day, he promised to send the delivery men to assemble the furniture, but that never happened. On Tuesday November [redacted] called me to tell me that he was going to send the delivery men to assemble the dining room set. I repeatedly told him that the furniture was the wrong color and that I would like to return it. He still kept insisting that it was the right color. I contacted [redacted] Home Design on Saturday the [redacted] and told them about the dispute. Six large boxes of furniture that are the wrong color, that I did not order are sitting in my living room and I am pleading with [redacted] to take them back and give me the correct color. Until today (November [redacted]) they are still in my living room. Due to the boxes in the living room, I had to cancel the family gathering I had planned for Thanksgiving. I would like this to be resolved as soon as possible or they will be in my living room for the whole Christmas holiday as well. My wife was also with me the entire time at the store. [redacted] wrote the receipt as a package of $6,400.00 for all the furniture purchased, but did not specify the cost of each set. I asked him about it and he said he had it somewhere, but couldn't remember where. Taxes of $568.00 were done on a separate credit card as per his request. The color of the living room set (brown) was mentioned on the receipt, but no color of the dining room set was mentioned. On the night of the delivery, my wife signed that she received the sofa, loveseat, chaise, and coffee table, but did not sign off for the dining room set because it wasn't the right color we ordered. Please feel free to contact me for any additional information needed.Desired Settlement: This business has a responsibility to give me the correct furniture that I ordered or refund my money if they cannot find my correct color.

In reference to your email regarding hearing from Beverly Hills Furniture, I would like you to know that NO one from the store ever contacted us on this matter.Howevere, [redacted] notified us that they ruled in favour of the Store which I think is totally unfair since they did not even listen to my side of this situation..I would truly like someone to take action. on this Store because many customers do have complaints about them and no one is helping the customers. we are completed with case but I am trying to get the dates of completion

the item in which the customer said was wrong color is only available in one color by manufacturer

some time the lighting plays a big part on how the furniture looks.

i'm sure if the customer were to use lED lights it will show to true color

but i'm happy to say that we are completed with this case.

Review: I would like to start off by saying I was rushed into signing contracts before fully reading. Now dealing with the loan company I am being over charged for the merchandise which originally I was suppose to be charged only 1400 for the whole package now I am being well over charge. my contracts state 1400 for one loan company and 299 for the other. the 299 amount was suppose to be for a free mattress which it states clearly in the advertisement. I am just contacting the loan companies and found out I am being over charge for the 1400 dollar amount. and delivery dates were put into my loan company well before I obtain my furniture. I went in and sign document on mothers day of this year 5/11 and ask the sales lady by the name of Jeidy why was I signing documents that state delivery day starts today. she ensure me the date would be change and it was never change. my furniture was delivered on may ** with two prior attempts with the wrong furniture and a broken mirror that was never replace to this day. I am still having hardships with the company in contacting them over the phone. they never pick up the phone its almost like they are ignoring my call because they know of how they are scamming people. I hope this issue is dealt with. I just moved into a new apartment and being that I am getting over charged for cheap broken furniture I hope this never happens to a hard working mother trying to support her family.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimburse the amount that I am being over charged. I was told the amount would be 1400 but once I paid for two different loan companies then the amount when up to 1698.00 after the a fact this company took my money. I am still uncertain in the full amount because the loan companies are saying a different amount now

Review: On Friday, October [redacted], 2015 in the afternoon at Beverly Hill Furniture Store, I made my first layaway payment for a "king sized" mattress. The sales representative Rosa was trying to explain to me that I could purchase the same exact type of mattress that was on display at the store, but in the sized that I preferred. On Saturday, October [redacted] in the afternoon I made a finale payment. On that same day Rosa told me that my purchase will be delivered to where I am currently living, by Wednesday. I told her that I don't know if Wednesday is the right day for me, so she told me that I can call her Tuesday and let her know. On Tuesday around 8pm I received a phone call on my cellular phone. I didn't know who it was until they mentioned about my delivery. I was not ready for the delivery but I excepted it and signed for it. After the delivery guys left I noticed that it was not the mattress that I wanted. I went to the store the next day, Rosa was not working that day so I spoke with two other sales associates and told them that the mattress that I signed for wasn't the right one. They began to get defensive and told me that its not their fault or problem and that I need to speak to Rosa about it the following day, I also asked if I if could speak to a manager and they told me no. The next day I went to the store to talk to Rosa. I also spoke to another Sale Rep. over the phone and in person they said that the mattress that I originally wanted was discontinued. So now I just want my money back!Desired Settlement: A refund.

Review: I arrived at Beverly hills store on August ** wanting a queen size bed but change my mind. But I did put down 25 dollars Now I came back on the August **,2015 and got a receipt for a rug and a bed. In threw days I wanted to cancel TEMPOE the loan place but the woman wouldn't do so she hung up on me and was rude. She was demanding 175 towards cancelling. I called TEMPOE they informed me that the business have nothing to do with them. They said that the woman can cancel with no problem. I called Beverly hills she was rude and hung up on me and was speaking to me like I don't matter. Stating that my account was declined but not cancel. They made false ad and are money thief. If they do not cancel the account I can be in debt please look into it I had to shut down my bank account because of themDesired Settlement: Correction made to TEMPOE
