The prescription was received by the pharmacy...

by a telephone call from the doctor's office on May 7, 2015. We did not have the product in stock (it actually had been unavailable or in limited supply for a period of several months) and ordered it on that day. We received the medication the next day and sent the order for delivery that same day, May 8. Our driver attempted delivery at 11:18am and was unable to deliver the package. The pharmacy received a phone call shortly after that and was able to deliver the package at 2:10pm.
The medication for the infection was covered in full by the patient's insurance plan. One of the other items in the package did, in fact, have a charge associated with it of $18.00. The pharmacy waived this charge at that time in an effort to appease the family. There are no charges to refund.
There is no delivery charge for medications from Beverly Hills Pharmacy.
The drivers do leave door hangers when a package is not successfully delivered. The door hangers are not wind-proof, waterproof, or always noted by patients or caregivers.
